Lower Level: French and French literature GCSE: French and French literature A-Level (IB): French and French literature Higher Levels: French and French literature Languages: English (C2) and French (native speaker) SND Experience: 3 years Preferred student age group: Any About me: Bonjour Bonjour, I am Mila. I am a 19 years old studying Art History and Theology in Glasgow. I have been living in this incredible city for 2 years now. Before, I lived where I was born, just in the South of Paris. I grew up and lived in France all my life. I graduated High school with a French Baccalauréat in French literature and Humanities. I love literature, art and movies which I use to teach French in a fun and pedagogical way. I know that learning a new language is difficult and that the traditional classroom is not adapted to everyone's needs. It is therefore really important for me to create a nice, warm, and welcoming environment to learn. French is beautiful, fun, and its history is incredibly rich! I aim at conveying this feeling to you during our sessions! I have taught all ages and I even helped students prepare for their French baccalauréat.

Hi, I am fourth year Civil Engineering undergraduate at the University of Liverpool. I studied Maths, Physics and Geography at A-Level and am passionate about teaching GCSE Maths and Physics. *I am currently taking on new male students for GCSE Maths, and GCSE + A-Level Physics for 1 lesson a week.* I have tutored a range of students throughout my two years at GoStudent ranging from Year 4 up to Year 13 in both Physics and Maths. My approach with most students is laid back with my understanding that a tutoring session must not feel the same as the school day. Most students are fed up of school at the end of the day, and continuing a similar environment after school in my experience does not lead to great engagement from students. For the students to learn they have to want to, and trying to make the tutoring session as laid back and enjoyable as possible I believe works really well. I studied A Level Physics, Maths and Geography and have gone on to study Civil Engineering at the University of Liverpool. The course mostly focusses on the practical application of mathematical and physical concepts which to me is much more interesting than learning the theory behind everything which can sometimes be a little boring.

GCSE: At GCSE level, I can teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Exam board experience: I have teaching experience in AQA and Edexcel. Preferred student age group: My preferred age group is GCSE students, as I have the most experience teaching students at this level. About me: I am very passionate about science and love to share my passion by tutoring, writing articles for my university science magazine, and being part of many scientific societies. Outside of academia, I love cooking, rock climbing, and horse riding. GCSEs: I completed 9 GCSEs overall, receiving a 9 in Biology, a 9 in Chemistry, a 9 in Physics, and an 8 in Maths. Beyond the STEM subjects, I received a 9 in Theology, an 8 in Drama, an 8 in Spanish, a 7 in English Literature, and a 6 in English Language. In Year 13, I was selected to be the Chemistry Prefect due to being one of the top Chemistry students in my year group. Undergraduate degree: I am currently a 2nd year Biochemistry student at King's College London and anticipated to receive First after my performance in my 1st year exams and coursework. During this time, I was a PAL leader. This role encompassed leading workshops on exam techniques, study skills, and challenging topics within a Biochemistry degree. Tutoring experience: I have been tutoring for three years, including volunteer tutoring for students who have been unable to attend school. I focus on developing personalised and engaging lessons. It is important to me to help students understand the topics I cover and apply what they have learned in the context of exam questions, thereby enhancing their confidence in exams. The students I am experienced in tutoring are GCSE and A-Level students. I also mentored and assisted students during my Chemistry Prefect and PAL leader tenure, which further enhanced my teaching abilities.
