Resume
Hi! My name is Omar and I'm a final year aerospace engineering student at Queen's University Belfast. Maths and Physics were my favourite subjects in school and I continue to use them daily in both my degree and my part-time work. Most recently I've been using a combination of maths learned in Leaving Cert and in university to design algorithms for self driving cars for my final year project! What are your goals for 2022? Mine are to graduate, and travel to three new countries!

My passion for learning fuels a desire to share knowledge, embodying a blend of cultural richness and scientific curiosity. I embrace challenges with a positive mindset, making every experience an opportunity for growth. I love adopting different teaching styles according to the students and their specific needs. I teach various subjecs such as Biology, Chemistry and Italian to students from the ages of 10 to 25+. Beyond tutoring, I enjoy spending my time practising yoga, reading books and volunteering. I have struggled with anxiety and have been always a bit of a perfectionist, therefore I have personal experience with how it feels to want to achieve the best one can, and I try to give some help and advice to students from this point of view as well. I have helped students with ADHD and dyslexia achieve great results in their university exams and coursework, therefore I have an awareness of how these conditions affect each individual differently and how to try and tweak my teaching style accordingly.
