Hello! My name is Rebecca and I'm an experienced tutor with a mathematical physics PhD. Within the last year, I have completed over 1000 tutoring sessions in both physics and mathematics helping many GCSE and A-level students achieve the best possible grades. I believe all students can learn to love mathematics and physics, so while my sessions focus on teaching content and exam preparation, I also give time to helping students really understand concepts and increase their desire to learn. I am currently looking to take one about 35 hours of tutoring as my last batch of students are now finished with their exams. GCSE: Mathematics and physics. A-Level: Mathematics and physics. Hi, I'm Nadha :), I'm currently a second year medical student and enjoy studying & tutoring biology in my spare time. Sessions with me are usually discussion based; this means we'll talk through topics together to identify any gaps and develop your understanding. We'll identify your strengths & weaknesses to personalise your sessions with spaced repetition and also strengthen your exam technique with past exam questions. In my free time, I enjoy journalling, going on walks, spending time with family & friends and watching the occasional k-drama :) I look forward to meeting you soon :) Subject: Biology Exam board: AQA & Edexcel Language: English Tutor GCSE students (preferred) and below. About me: During my gap year, I began tutoring students in biology, chemistry and physics ranging from KS3 to A-Level. Tutoring students of different ages and learning styles has refined my teaching style and massively increased my confidence.
Yaseen A.
Hi! My name is Yaseen and I am currently a second-year student at the University of Manchester and I am studying Mechatronic Engineering. I love this field of study because it is always evolving and progressing with the development of technology used in manufacturing electrical components and robots. My interest in STEM subjects began at secondary school where my teachers showed me the applications of STEM which led to the formation of a STEM club and my involvement as a STEM ambassador. I want to tutor students to give everyone the same opportunity and understanding of these subjects that I received from my teachers. I hope to spark the same curiosity and interest in you. During these sessions, you can expect full commitment and support from me, help with your school work or set homework, and topic-related sessions that have been chosen by you. Experience in tutoring, informally and on other platforms. The subjects I teach heavily relate to the Mechatronic Engineering course I am studying at the University of Manchester. -Grade 9 in GCSE Physics and Biology -Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and Chemistry -Grade A in A-Level Maths and Chemistry
