I was born in Norwich, England and completed my schooling in South Africa. I have a passion for teaching and I believe that we are capable of learning so much more when we are enjoying ourselves. I enjoy helping children overcome difficulties with speech and interpretation of the English language. I am qualified to teach English children(TEFL) and adults (CELTA). I have completed more than 7,000 practical lessons or 2,500 hours of teaching students online. I have 5 years worth of informal face-to-face teaching in a SundaySchool classroom. I have 20 years worth of experience training adults in the telecommunications sector. I successfully completed my first year of teachers training in 1979 and had to stop due to ill health.

I tutor maths at both GCSE and A level. With the emergence of technology, it is vital that we are all up to date with the rapid development and changes it brings. I am tutoring both GCSE and A Level students at a centre already since August 2021 so I am familiar with topics which students may find difficult. One advice I would give to students is to revise as early as possible so that they don't have to cram their revision the night before. It is much easier to break down revision into little pieces than one big chunk.
