About me

Hi! I am a third year medical student at the University of Leeds, who is passionate about helping students succeed and enjoy the wonderful subjects of biology and psychology along the way! Having recently done my A-levels (A*A*A), I have up-to-date and effective exam technique advice to offer. I enjoy simplifying complicated scientific and psychological concepts to make content easier to understand for students which enables their confidence to flourish in the subject area. I deliver structured lessons personalised to each student's strengths and weaknesses, engaging them in a friendly learning environment and asking questions to review what they have learnt and ensure they understand. I aim to adapt my method of delivery based on each student's learning type like using more visual aids...

Hi! I’m Kai, a fairly easy-going guy from London and I have been tutoring for just over 5 years and love every minute of it! I am here to help you ace your exams and provide that 'lightbulb' moment! Whichever way you learn best I will tailor my lessons to you. I tend to use many different resources depending on what suits your learning style, for example I usually incorporate diagrams and flowcharts to visualise some of the tricker concepts. I know when I was a student, having a tutor was a huge benefit to me as I was able to understand concepts from a different point of view. Away from tutoring, I am also a huge fan of football (Real Madrid of course!) and Athletics, mostly 100m and 200m sprinting and I previously represented both my County and Athletics Club several times at regional level. Wherever possible, I love to include real-life examples especially in Science so the lessons can be engaging and you can achieve your potential. Hope to see you soon! University of Reading: Biomedical Sciences BSc GCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Physics A-Level: Biology, Chemistry Exam board experience: AQA/OCR Experience with: KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level Preferred student age group: - GCSE for both Biology and Chemistry AQA
