I have a very creative method of teaching and like to include games and make it fun and stimulating. I have a lot of experience working with children on the spectrum and ADHD so can manage meltdowns and difficulties in learning. Teaching styles will be catered towards their way of learning (eg visual, oral, kinetic). I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-level. I then went on to study Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. I have about 10 years experience in tutoring. Since I was 15, I have been teaching primary level and then after that went to teach secondary level. I teach English, Irish and Scottish Curriculum.

About me: Hi! I’m Irene. I have been involved in teaching for 2 years, having previously worked with students age 4-16 as a teaching assistant in the UK and in Spain. My experience has allowed me to develop my confidence in teaching students from KS1 all the way up to A-level. In addition, in my second and final year at University I tutored 1st year Biology students who were struggling with the jump from A-level to undergrad, helping them develop their statistical, critical analysis and exam writing skills. While at school, I was always the kid in class who asked SO many questions because I often found science and maths lessons to be a huge information overload! Thanks to the patience of my teachers and a dedicated tutor I excelled in my science and maths GCSEs and A-Levels which ultimately gave me the confidence to go on and study Biology at the University of Leeds. I strive to give my students the same patience and dedication I received in school to them!

Hello! I'm Ma. Nuelma Villa, and I am a TEFL Certified English Teacher. I hold a degree in Special Education and am currently completing the final stage of my Master's program. I've been teaching students at various levels for over a decade and I've developed a keen ability to connect with my students and inspire them to reach their full potential. I am passionate about making my students' learning interactive and exciting. I enjoy exploring and learning digital tools and strategies to help enhance my students' online learning experiences. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy baking and exploring nature, which often inspires my lessons. My goal as a teacher is to foster a supportive and dynamic virtual environment where each of my student can thrive and develop a lifelong love for learning. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Special Education and in my last step of finishing my Master's Degree in Special Education too.
