Hi, I’m Ernan! With over 20 years of math tutoring experience and a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics, I specialize in helping students at the Lower Level and GCSE stages. My passion for math extends beyond teaching—I’ve applied mathematical principles to game design, making complex concepts engaging and accessible. I hold a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science and have extensive experience in both teaching and practical math applications. Since 2000, I've tutored subjects from primary math to advanced topics like algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and statistics, both in-person and online. My career also includes roles as a Game Mathematician and Slot Designer, where I developed mathematical models for slot games, as well as experience as a Software Engineer and Actuarial Assistant. I am student at Aston university studying Optometry. My course is a 4 year course. In my free time, I like to cook and bake and apply henna. I enjoy watching tv shows and movies. I’m a very organised and honest person who is always friendly to the people around me. I am a first year optometry student. I teach maths up to gcse level and chemistry and business studies up to A level. I can tutor all ages starting from primary school all the way up to A level. I got 2 9s, 6 8’s and 2 7’s at gcse and at a level I got A*AA

Recently, I have just finished my 3rd year of Biochemistry at the University of Kent in Canterbury. Next year, I will be undertaking a year studying data analytics. I have previous experience working for a franchised tutoring firm where I learnt how to engage with students of all capabilities and ages. It is from this experience that I am able to work with a broad spectrum of people.
