Hi I’m Emily, I’m from the Norfolk coast, I love watersports and living on the beach. I have travelled extensively and love meeting people from all over the world on my travels. I enjoyed learning about their different cultures and I am very interested in communication and conversation. I have taught as an online tutor, teaching Spanish adults and high school age students. I have taught individual classes, group classes up to 8 students and Business English classes. I have experience working in an art school in Barcelona. I really enjoyed working in the school environment and I am passionate about adult and continual life learning.

I completed my A-Levels from Lahore Grammar School with 3 A*s and 1 A and before that, I completed my O Levels also from Lahore with 7 A*s and 1 B. I have always been interested in Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics as I have participated in other related activities to these subjects such as robotics as well.

Many of these key skills in teaching have been gained through experience in part-time work as a volunteer assistant teacher, educational programs, and personal projects, while also picking up many skills from my parents given they are also teachers. I am Currently learning Spanish and Arabic and have recently taken up indoor climbing and in particular bouldering as a hobby. I enjoy reading and researching about not only topics associated with Chemical Engineering but on many different subjects, from geography to psychology, particularly through attending seminars and creating strong relationships with those from other disciplines. I enjoy travel and experiencing different cultures. Having travelled to Russia, North America, and Europe. Recently travelled to Geneva to take a guided tour round CERN, observe the LHC and converse with many leading minds at the forefront of scientific discovery. Completed 10 GCSE's including Maths, English and Sciences at Langley Secondary School, Solilhull Achieved 3 A levels in Maths, Chemistry and Physics from Solihull Sixth Form College Will graduate with a First Class MEng degree in chemical engineering in July 2025 from the University of Hull
