I am a friendly, patient and determined tutor. I recently finished my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. I believe that this experience puts me in a great position to share my knowledge to help other students because I know what is needed in order to excel in these subjects. I always like to focus on what you as a student need help with to ensure that you get the most out of every lesson, and spend as much time making progress as possible I would describe myself as methodical and systematic and I think my teaching style reflects this. First, I like to ensure that there is an understanding of the key principles of the topic. Then I like to break questions down and look at the key steps in the method for that question type. I think that repetition is extremely important and the key to mastering a particular topic is encountering as many different variations of questions as possible. So this is what I will encourage. I have previous experience teaching other students from my school A-level maths concepts which they struggled with. While preparing for A-levels I created some resources that enabled me to achieve 4 A*s in the subjects above and have helped other students. I would be happy to share these and other strategies I used in preparation for exams. Outside of academics, I am a relaxed person and enjoy a wide range of sports, my favourites being football and basketball. I also enjoy reading and spending time with family. My name is Imad and I am currently on a gap year with a guaranteed place to study medicine at the University of Liverpool this year, having attended a grammar school prior. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine, and I have much experience tutoring in the last two years offering both a private service as well as tutoring friends and family through 11+, GCSE and A-level exams. In these two years, I have managed to perfect my teaching style to get the most out of my students. My teaching style is heavily interactive, placing emphasis on students finding answers on their own with my guidance for better understanding. My proven track record demonstrates my ability to effectively convey complex concepts in a manner that is easily understandable and relatable to students. I am completely aware that not all students are the same and everyone has their own preference when learning, which is why I am committed to tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each individual student. In 2015, I took the 11+ exam, securing a place at all 5 grammar schools that I applied to. Eventually, I went on to attend King Edward VI Grammar School (KEGS). At GCSE level, I gained five grade 9's, four grade 8's and three grade 7's. This includes a grade 9 in all subjects that I tutor. At A-level, I gained A*, A*, A, B in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and EPQ.

Over the course of my A levels, I started helping more and more students in either one-on-one settings or in groups of two or three, both, face to face and online. This is the point where I realized that I enjoy teaching; when students younger than me and, in some cases, even my own friends came up to me and told me how well their tests and exams went. I have taught many subjects throughout my tutoring experience: GCSE Mathematics, GCSE Additional Mathematics, GCSE Physics, GCSE Computer Science, A-level Mathematics, A-level Physics, A-level Computer Science and Mathematics and Physics for entrance tests such as for SAT, IMAT and the admission test to my university Politecnico di Torino.
