I like to teach Maths at any level ranging from Key Stage 2 to A-Level and Physics at the Key Stage 3 and GCSE level. My favourite topics in Maths include: - Algebra (at any level) - Statistics and Data Handling - Geometry - Equations of Graphs and Calculus - Multiples, Factors and Primes - Fractions, Decimals and Percentages - Indices and Surds - Trigonometry and Pythagoras - Surface Area and Volume My favourite topics in Physics include: - Waves - Pressure - The EM Spectrum - Density and Change of State - Speed and Acceleration - Energy - Current, Resistance and Voltages in Circuits, I am creative person who likes in Football (both playing and watching), gymnastics, building things, marine life, computers and Maths. I'm Charlotte! I have just finished studying my Master’s in International Relations with International Law. I previously studied, and obtained, a B.A. in History. I have always loved learning, and helping people wherever I can. English and History were always my favourite subjects during school. I have been tutoring for two and a half years now, specialising in English and History. History was one of my all-time favourite subjects, I had an amazing teacher during my GCSE’s which helped fuel my love for the stories of the past. I have dual nationality with both USA and UK passports thanks to my English mother. When I was much younger I gained 5 "O" levels and 1 "A" level while living in Taunton, England. I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I have a 4-year university degree from San Diego, California. In 2004 I gained a TESOL certificate at Transworld Schools in San Francisco, California. I have over 12 years of cumulative teaching experience in Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, and China. I think that teaching English has benefitted me the most in the world around us. When I was in Kuwait I wrote and self-published a children's book entitled Korean Odyssey. I now live in Wiveliscombe, Somerset England awaiting a return to Thailand where my Thai wife is.

As a student my self I understand how daunting exams and revision can get and through my journey of improvement through trial and error I have understood that each student requires a different approach to learning and every student has the potential to achieve the top grades. It will make me extremely happy if I can help make it a little easy for students to ace their exams and perform to the best of their abilities!!!! My approach would be to ensure that students understand concepts required by their subject. - I also place a lot of importance in exam practice and mastering exam skills and a portion of my lessons will be used to do that. - During the first lesson, I aim to identify where the student is working at right now and work out techniques we can use for improvement because I believe any students can get the top grades through effective learning and revision. - Discussing revision techniques and advice on revision tips. - I really like the 'blurting' techniques and recall so be prepared for questions!!!! I have recently completed my a levels in Chemistry Biology and Psychology in addition to an epq on the topic of antibiotic substitutes. I am quite keen about education and therefore want to teach other people and help them get to their full potential!!! Since I am planning to be a biology, GCSE Science and psychology tutor at both gcse and A levels, I believe it is relevant to mention that at GCSE I did triple science, achieving all 9s and also psychology, achieving an 8.
