Hello! I’m Vince Hendrick Carangan, a passionate Mathematics teacher with nine years of experience. I specialize in fostering a love for math and helping students build both academic excellence and confidence. I also coach students for math competitions, where they can apply their skills in a challenging environment. Recently, two of my students won gold medals in an international math competition—a proud moment that highlights the power of dedication and mentorship. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Mathematics to deepen my knowledge and further enhance my teaching, ensuring every student’s learning experience is engaging and impactful. I hold a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Bulacan State University and currently teach Junior High School Mathematics there. My teaching career began at La Consolacion University Philippines, and I'm now pursuing a Master's in Mathematics to further deepen my expertise. Teaching math has been deeply rewarding, allowing me to share my passion and help students build confidence in their skills. My background combines both practical and theoretical insights, and I aim to inspire students to excel in math while appreciating its real-world relevance.

ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I am a keen traveller, audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level, as well as EFL/ESL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or older, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel and OCR in the main. WJEC/Eduqas to a lesser extent. Languages:- English: as a first language to advanced level. Turkish: fluent to college level.

Hi, I'm Kudzai, a 5th year medical student with an interest in the sciences, economics and languages. I have attended Invicta and Maidstone Grammar school for girls, achieving 10 7-9s at GCSE. I am currently in my 5th year of medical school, after completing my A levels ( Biology, Chemistry and Economics) and so I am well acquainted with the different exam techniques, system and exam boards!
