Hey! I am a university student pursuing an undergraduate in Economics and Finance, I am currently in my second year of the course. I came through a mix of the IB and American schooling system, and given that I am currently studying in the UK, you could say I am familiar with all sorts of curriculums! Given my educational background, I am comfortable tutoring Economics up to an A level (or equivalent) standards. I am also able to teach Maths and Statistics up to GCSE (or equivalent) standards. Additionally, I have experience with IB, AP, and University level examinations across subjects relevant to Maths and Economics. I am happy to tutor individuals of all ages, from primary to university level students! I am a native speaker of English and Urdu/Hindi; I am happy to tutor in either language.

My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions. I have recently worked to develop a student e-learning platform (www.studentgrinds.ie). I have also created youtube videos on my account 'Laura Kehoe' (youtube user ID:HmzZLwmKOZwL3SV-aONyig ) showcasing the solutions to maths exam questions for students. I am happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to tutoring sessions. Outside of my studies, I enjoy horse-riding and running.

I am currently a Computer Science undergraduate who loves Maths and enjoys Physics. I like learning new and exciting things and finding where they come from. I also love to teach subjects that I am passionate about, and have plenty of experience in doing so. I have attended Langley Grammar School for both my GCSEs and A-Levels. Hello, My name is Sridevi! Being a Science graduate with Maths has always made me fascinated with maths. I have a thorough understanding of the curriculum as I have worked in Primary school as a teaching assistant which gives me experience working with SEN children and gifted and talented children which enables me the knack for pitching the lessons and hooking them to the lessons. My interventions and commitment to inspiring children in school who had maths anxiety made them change their perspective toward mathematics and boosted their confidence and scores in SATs. I also tutored Vedic Maths and Hindi for charity and during the pandemic, I quickly adapted to virtual learning and had to prepare my slides accordingly. I have 8 years of experience working in primary school and tutoring primary and secondary maths and my students especially enjoyed Vedic Maths: the techniques of solving mathematically mentally and quicker ways of solving them. Recently I am doing my PGCE secondary Maths being a trainee teacher has doubled my knowledge and experience to share with young minds to excel in their studies in school. Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research, and other academic tasks. Working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom. I usually start my lessons with meditation to calm pupils’ agitated minds to relax and get focused. My lessons have knowledge retrieval from previous lessons so the students could recap their previous lessons and problem-solving questions which shows the importance of maths in real life also at the end of the class, we have a quiz and multiple-choice questions which enables the child to get motivated and focused and helps me to pitch the lessons for the next lesson or set a task as homework. My personal skills such as patience, empathy, and active listening will enable my students to persevere in their studies.
