Hi I’m Mahnoor! I am a qualified English teacher with years of experience both in tutoring and school teaching. I teach: Primary School KS1/KS2: English Secondary/High School GCSE: English Language (GCSE), English Literature (GCSE), Urdu and Law College A-level: Law Experience with: -KS1/KS2/KS3/KS4 - English England Curriculum -Students with disabilities/special needs (SEND) -ADHD/Autism/Dyslexia/ODD Languages: English, Urdu, and Punjabi No two children are the same, so a big part of my approach towards tutoring is to adapt each lesson towards that student’s needs in order to achieve their full potential. Why learn with me? I love to deliver lessons tailored to each student that are fun as well as engaging and I encourage students to interact as much as possible. I believe it’s important to make sure students are practicing what they’re taught or revising in their spare time and I am their biggest cheer leader to push them to meet targets! I have plenty of resources for activities, worksheets, homework and especially exam revision! As well as remaining friendly and an approachable person, I also strongly believe in creating and maintaining a professional relationship as a tutor. When I am not tutoring, I like to spend my time with my family, friends and most importantly- my daughter! During my downtime, I enjoy reading, painting and trying out new cooking recipes! I’ve studied a wide range of subjects from a young age! I did my Undergraduate bachelor degree in Law (LLB) and then went on to complete my Postgraduate Masters in Law (LLM) too. After some experience in the legal sector I realised I wanted to go towards a career in teaching as that’s what I’ve always loved the most! That led me to complete my teaching qualification (PGCE) where I additionally specialised in English and worked with primary and secondary school GCSE students. Along with teaching a variety of subjects, I aim to work with students professionally and motivate them to discuss career opportunities and specialisms. Whether it’s teaching Law, Urdu, Primary Education or English- I haven’t looked back since!

Hi! I'm Jake, a graduate in Mathematics and Statistics, and I'm a fan of maths and tutor it at all levels below uni. My experience with tutoring comes in the form of a year of volunteering while at uni, doing part-time work helping at a tutoring centre, and helping anonymously online on discord for the past six years, guiding students through questions they find particularly hard. Having done my GCSEs and A-levels in maths and further maths on the OCR exam board, I am very familiar with it, but I am also very experienced with Edexcel and have reasonable experience with AQA as well, but very happy to learn about other exam boards if needed. My other hobbies and interests are puzzles, deception games (e.g. Mafia, Blood on the Clocktower, Werewolf) and board games, programming and video games (Rocket League mostly). Typical nerd stuff. Degree: BA in Mathematics and Statistics - University of Oxford A-levels: Maths OCR, Further Maths OCR (Mechanics and Discrete), Physics AQA, Chemistry AQA - A* A* A* A GCSEs: Maths, Triple Sciences, Computer Science, Geography, English Lit+Lang, German, FSMQ - 999987665A

Hello! My name is Maryam and I am a student currently studying Medicine at the University of Exeter. I owe my accomplishments purely to the teachers that have taught me in secondary school for having faith in me and making me own my learning style. I sincerely believe that every person has the potential to do great things if inspired by a good teacher. I only hope to genuinely touch the lives of students and encourage them to be great. My approach to teaching involves being patient and tailoring my lessons to best suit the pupil. I believe in teaching according to the pupil's needs. My favourite subject during A' levels was Biology and I am hoping to pass on that love to willing students!
