I am a university associate lecturer in Biology, Natural Sciences and Earth, Environment and Ecosystem Sciences, and I am also a secondary school science teacher (PGCE / QTS). Available to tutor GCSE, IGCSE Single Sciences Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and Combined Science, (AQA, OCR and Pearsons). I also love sailing, kayaking surfing, wild swimming and snorkeling. I am a qualified RYA dinghy sailing senior instructor (I used to race 470 sailboats as part of the British Sailing Team). I also love music and playing percussion (Brazillian samba) and am part of a local community street band.

I graduated from King's College London in a joint-honours programme in Biomedical Science and Public Health, and then pursued further study at Bart's School of Medicine in Genomic Medicine. This meant I got to study not only Science, but anthropology, economics and epidemiology. Apart from my studies, I have been learning French for many years, and I also enjoy weightlifting, hiking, playing the guitar and painting.

MATHS (Primary, GCSE, SQA National 5 & SQA Higher) I have extensive experience in tutoring Mathematics to students of all ages, from primary school education to SQA Higher/AS Level, and can adjust my tutoring approach according to each child's strengths and weaknesses in Mathematics with high efficiency. 11+ EXAMINATIONS (Private schools, CEM & GL) I have amassed over 3 years of experience in tutoring students for their 11+ examinations, and have successfully enabled all of my students to gain admission into their competitive schools of choice. ENGLISH (Primary, SQA National 5, SQA Higher) I have extensive experience in tutoring students of all ages in English, from phonics at primary school level to essay writing at GCSE/SQA Higher level. Through this, I have become a very versatile tutor, and also specialise in tutoring sciences like Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science for students of all ages. ABOUT ME I am a passionate, ambitious student who is studying for an undergraduate degree in Computer Science at the University of St Andrews. I have been tutoring children for 5 years, and always operate based on the belief that each of my students has the potential to succeed, given the right guidance and support. QUALIFICATIONS I achieved 8 A band 1 (85%+) grades at SQA National 5 level in the subjects of Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Spanish and Drama in 2021. I then achieved 5 A band 1 (85%+) grades at SQA Higher level in the subjects of Computer Science, Mathematics, Human Biology, Chemistry and English in 2022. Finally, I achieved 3 A band 1 (85%+) grades at SQA Advanced Higher level in 2023, in the subjects of Computer Science, Mathematics and Biology. I am currently on track for a first class degree in BSc (Honours) Computer Science at the University of St Andrews.
