Hello, my name is Kirsty. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Manchester studying maternal and fetal health. At secondary school I always enjoyed learning about Science and Maths, so after my GCSEs I decided to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Following this, I went to the University of Manchester to study Biomedical Sciences. Here I spent three years learning about various aspects of Biology such as Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience and Biochemistry. From my lectures I began to grow an interest in maternal and fetal health, which I pursued by completing my master's in reproduction and pregnancy. As well as increasing my knowledge about biology I also learnt laboratory skills and how to conduct experiments. I am now doing my PhD whilst also teaching undergraduate biology students at the university. Outside of academia I also enjoy going to dance classes, hiking and baking.

I am a 2nd year medical student who is dedicated and determined to helping others reach their goals, improve their confidence and help people enter exam season feeling prepared. I have 3 years experience in tutoring so I am very comfortable with all exam boards at GCSE and A level. I help my students by giving them tips on how to answer exam questions and ways to maximise their marks as well as just understanding the content. If I'm your tutor I promise to try my hardest to push you to your goals in a way that is best for you by altering my teaching style depending on what suits you best. Hi, my name is Helen and I am currently studying Chemical Engineering in Imperial College London. Maths was always one of my favourite subjects at school so I am really looking forward to becoming a maths tutor. As a patient and creative person, I will be able to tailor my lessons to suit each student's learning style. In my free time I love to bake and play sports. I grew up in Ireland so I played Gaelic and camogie for many years and I still play tennis and hockey at university. I look forward to working with you!
