About Me Hello! My name is Mary Ann Suizo, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a love for fostering growth and curiosity in students. I have always believed in the transformative power of education, and my goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. With experience in Mathematics areas such as General Mathematics and Statistics and Probability, also in Science for General Physics 1 and 2, I aim to inspire a love of learning and develop critical thinking skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing Lawn Tennis as my sports and Reading and Studying nonfiction books especially an inspirational and motivational true to life journey which help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. Education I hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education with a major in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education, also with a major in Mathematics which provided me with a solid foundation in both pedagogical theory and subject-specific knowledge. Through my studies, I developed a strong understanding of how to create lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs, while also fostering a positive classroom environment. Additionally, I have participated in professional development trainings, seminars and workshops for the past years, ensuring that I stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and educational tools. I am a 19 years old studying Art History and Theology in Glasgow. I have been living in this incredible city for 2 years now. Before, I lived where I was born, just in the South of Paris. I grew up and lived in France all my life. I graduated High school with a French Baccalauréat in French literature and Humanities. I love literature, art and movies which I use to teach French in a fun and pedagogical way. I know that learning a new language is difficult and that the traditional classroom is not adapted to everyone's needs. It is therefore really important for me to create a nice, warm, and welcoming environment to learn. French is beautiful, fun, and its history is incredibly rich!
