I would describe my teaching style as engaging and adaptable I maintain an open stance towards feedback and novel ideas. I encourage my students to think beyond conventional boundaries, nurturing their unique style and thought paradigm. I strive to push them to present convincing and innovative points. However, I make lessons very practical; there is a science behind English and I can teach anybody how to improve because I know that. I am passionate about English because I believe it is an evergreen discipline. I love the theories and conversations that English illuminates and evokes in all its forms. Studying English language and literature was truly inspiring for me. My A level studies encompassed a multi-modal exploration, including speeches, plays, books, diaries, interviews, poems, comics, and blogs. This comprehensive exploration challenged me to grasp the nuanced aspects of communication, persuasion and emotion. Moreover, it granted me the opportunity to glean insights from numerous authors representing diverse cultural and historical backgrounds. Hence, I am a better communicator and empathetic person which shines through my teaching. Prior to that, I completed my A-Levels at King Edward VI Five Ways School in Birmingham from August 2018 to July 2020, achieving outstanding grades of A*A*A in Mathematics, English Language and Literature and Economics respectively. My academic journey began at King Edward VI Aston Birmingham, where I completed my GCSEs from September 2016 to July 2018, earning notable results including 4 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, and 2 grade 7s, with grade 9 distinctions in English Language

I am very intellectually driven and enjoy reading and writing about a variety of subjects . My current main interests are to do with psychology and education. I have a variety of experience in sports coaching and education, both in the UK and abroad and am constantly developing my skills and knowledge both as an educator and as a person overall A's in English, the Sciences, PE and Psyhology at GCSE level. At A Level, an A in PE, a B in Psyhology and a C in Biology and I have qualifications in safeguarding and first aid via the FA. I am constantly striving to further my knowledge in the core subjects, so as to develop myself as an educators and deliver the best results for my students

I was born in Norwich, England and completed my schooling in South Africa. I have a passion for teaching and I believe that we are capable of learning so much more when we are enjoying ourselves. I have a clear and easily understood accent and I cannot wait to meet you in the classroom where pronunciation, good grades and fun are the name of the game. I enjoy helping children overcome difficulties with speech and interpretation of the English language. I am qualified to teach English children(TEFL) and adults (CELTA). I have completed more than 7,000 practical lessons or 2,500 hours of teaching students online. I have 5 years worth of informal face-to-face teaching in a SundaySchool classroom. I have 20 years worth of experience training adults in the telecommunications sector. I successfully completed my first year of teachers training in 1979 and had to stop due to ill health.

I have just finished my third year studying Mathematics at the University of Oxford. I offer tutoring in: GCSE: Mathematics and Further Mathematics A Level: Mathematics and Further Mathematics I can also offer tuition in similar/equivalent Mathematics courses taught in England (e.g. iGCSE/AS level) if required. Exam experience: I have been tutoring Edexcel A-Level Mathematics since October 2022. I sat Edexcel iGCSE Mathematics and AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics (GCSE equivalent) in June 2019 and CAIE Pre-U Mathematics and Further Mathematics (A-Level equivalent) in June 2021, achieving top grades in all these courses, so I have direct recent experience with the above exam boards. The courses I have taken are very similar to the more widely taken GCSE and A Level courses. Preferred student age group: Between Years 9 and 13 About me: I am from Cambridge and have just finished my third year studying Mathematics at the University of Oxford, achieving a first in the undergraduate part of the degree. In my free time, I play piano and French horn and am part of my college choir, which I frequently conduct. I also enjoy spending time listening to my prog rock CDs and reading various books on 20th century history, music and Latin/Ancient Greek grammar.
