I have completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of Birmingham. Currently, I am studying as a postgraduate in PGCE Secondary Mathematics to become a fully qualified maths teacher at the end of this academic year. Over the course of teaching maths, I have thoroughly enjoyed encouraging and helping students to engage with the subject. My students have completed their studies not just doing well in their GCSEs, but have explained that they actually find more enjoyment and understanding in the subject. Throughout our sessions, I will use various problem solving methods to encourage students to think and explore different ideas that we will learn. This way, pupils are a lot more prepared for the interesting and challenging problems that appear on their test papers! I look forward to teaching you and growing your confidence and success in mathematics! I have graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bsc Mathematics degree. Currently, I am studying for my PGCE in secondary maths in order to become a fully qualified maths teacher with QTS. As well as mathematics, I enjoy music and arts. I have sat the LAMDA and piano examinations up to grade 8 and bassoon exams up to grade 6.

Hi! I'm Jenna, a recently graduated Psychology student with a passion for learning and helping others achieve their full potential. As a determined problem-solver, I have always loved maths - the satisfaction I get from solving a particularly difficult problem is what makes it my favourite! From solving algebraic equations in early GCSE to working out financial budgets for my university life, maths has always been exciting for me. Hopefully I can share this passion with you, and have some fun along the way. I have some tutoring experience across a range of contexts, from helping year 7s struggling with secondary school maths topics, to regularly assisting university students with psychology questions. At the forefront of my focus is a student's inherent grasp of the topic. I will continually check your understanding, and I am willing to approach the topic from a different angle in order to elevate your understanding and knowledge. I am determined to help you in any way that I can so you can achieve your personal academic goals and importantly, boost your confidence in your own mathematical ability. It's not always about top grades: a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and familiarity with numerical rules come first, but good marks almost always come hand in hand with this. Hi there! I'm Emily and I'm from the UK. Lessons with me as your tutor will be interactive and dynamic. Whichever the subject is, I will be ensuring that I cater the content of my lessons to your individual needs. During the lessons, we will be utilising a variety of learning techniques, such as discussions, quizzes and PowerPoint lectures. Alongside my academic studies, I have always worked hard to support myself. These roles have predominantly been working with children in the psychological field but also online tutoring. I have 4 years of experience teaching English online as a Foreign Language and 1.5 years of experience online tutoring in psychology and sociology. I enjoy helping people. I want to become a consummate professional in this field. I am a reliable, dedicated and hard-working individual. This is proven by my academic history, which includes eleven GCSEs, three A-Levels, a degree in Psychology at the undergraduate level and a master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology.
