Hi, I’m JJ, an experienced and passionate tutor who’s been helping students reach their academic goals since 2021. I am an experienced maths teacher/ lecturer. Currently, I work in a training centre, prior to this I have worked in a FE college for more than 6 years, teaching GCSE and functional skills maths. I have also taught ESL to adult groups. I have the experience teaching face to face and online using different platforms. I always worked with children with Special Educational needs from different back grounds. In addition, I worked in primary school supporting year 6 learners to build their maths skills to pass their SATs, before that I was teaching Arabic and Tajweed rules age of 5yrs up to adults. I hold GCSE in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. In addition, I hold A level in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. I also hold BSc Electrical engineering, PTLLS L3 award in education and training and Diploma L3 in teaching and supporting learners.

Hi! I am a music student studying at the University of Manchester. However, I achieved an A* in A level Maths and have experience in maths tutoring. I take a communicative approach when tutoring; asking the students to explain their thinking so I can better understand any gaps in their knowledge. Despite my lessons costing you anywhere from £21.99-£30.50 for the 50 minutes, I recieve £13 either way with GoStudent taking 41%-57%. I have experience with tutoring for GCSE AQA exam boards and A Level OCR exam boards. Furthermore, whenever I meet a new student I will be sure to ask which exam board they are learning and research the spec and some practise papers in preparation for our lessons.
