Hi there! I have over 4 years experience tutoring a range of subjects. My specialties are maths, physics, chemistry and Spanish, which I've mostly taught at A-Level and GCSE tiers. I have a BA in mathematics which I studied alongside tutoring, so I can appreciate teaching from both sides of the classroom. Much of my experience revolves around helping students to prepare for exams, and working through past papers together is an invaluable tool for this. I'm also very passionate about my subjects, with STEM I've always had a deep personal interest in how the Universe works, and I've always loved Spain and seeing how the logic in different languages works. I enjoy explaining what I know to others, which puts me in a good position to be a tutor. It's also great to see students progressing over time. My tutoring method is based around giving the student the tools they need and guiding them to solve problems themselves, rather than simply being told the answers. I believe this process helps students to learn how to think critically, and thus become more independent and able to solve problems on their own in the future. Some of my hobbies include hiking with my dog, learning languages and exploring new places! BA in mathematics

Evidently, I have a keen interest for sharing Math knowledge, however I also enjoy other activities (such as reading or playing video games). Also, music is a very fun and interesting topic (which contains a surprising amount of math). I play the guitar and read about music theory. Finally, I have a cat who may show up in lessons. 2020-2021: MSc Advanced Physics, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Distinction 2016-2019: BA Natural Sciences Tripos, University of Cambridge, 2.2 2014-2016: A level Mathematics (A*), A level Physics (A*), A level Chemistry (A), AS Further Math (A), AS Biology (A)

GCSE: Maths Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel Preferred student age group: GCSE About me: Hi, I'm Archie! I'm currently studying Economics at the University of Bath. In my free time I love to watch as well as play rugby and football. My passion for sport has grown due to my participation with the organisation Sports Leaders, in which I've gained valuable experience working with GCSE students. Maths is a strongpoint of mine and heavily focussed on in my degree; I achieved a grade 9 in my Maths GCSE in 2019, so I understand recent changes to the curriculum.
