I graduated with a First in BSc Medical Sciences Firstly, we will work out the student's weak topics using a past paper. Then, we will focus on those topics. I am good at explaining concepts in an easy-to-understand way. I use homework videos and questions to reinforce the student's knowledge. I also use end of topic tests and past papers. We will set time-specific goals, so the student has already achieved their target grade by the time their exam comes around. I know exactly what the examiners are looking for in your answers, so I will coach you on how to gain all the marks for each type of question. By the time we have spent a few months together, your understanding will have improved greatly. I graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2021 with a first-class degree in Social Anthropology. I also took modules in History and Art History in the first two years of my course. My passion for History led me to an MSc in Digital Heritage at the University of York and to my current job at the University of Dundee Museums Service. I also have over 7 years of experience volunteering at Heritage sites and Museums. I've done various roles in archives, social media, events and exhibitions as well as working as a tourguide at a castle with a 1500 year history. I think this gives me a lot of skills in communicating heritage alongside the academic skills that would make me a good tutor for History. My hobbies are art and design. I love to paint and draw but have been doing a lot of digital illustrations recently. I'm also really interested in historical fashion. I've done costuming for theatre shows and I like to sew from vintage patterns or make history inspired items. I have also been working on designing historical dress-up doll online games which is an extension of my MSc dissertation research. Additionally I love to bake and enjoy yoga and walking. I would like to take a students hobby/interest and use that as an entry point into the period to capture their imagination. Coming from a museum background I would also like to incorporate objects from collections as a starting point for understanding the past and a way to develop the source analysis skills needed in exams.

I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing Medical physiology. I have been tutoring for the last 4 years and have experience tutoring biology, chemistry, physics and maths from primary to GCSE students. My tutoring style is tailored according to the students needs and I ensure to give my best to make learning fun, interactive and easy. currently a student at the University of Leicester studying Medical physiology. I took my GCSEs and A levels abroad in Qatar and secured a top achiever title from my year group. I have been tutoring both online and in person back in Qatar and I am continuing that here in the UK.
