Hello! :) My name is Cécile and I am twenty-four years of age. In 2021, I graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester with a Bachelors Degree in Drama and I am currently midway through my Insurance chartership. I will have my CII accreditation by February 2026. I currently work full-time as an Insurance Consultant but the highlight of my week, is supporting students on their academic journeys! :) I have been delivering high-quality teaching in both, face to face and virtual settings, for almost five years. I have operating as a freelance tutor on the GoStudent platform, since January 2022. On the 4th of January 2024, I received my 500th lesson certificate from GoStudent and since January 2022, I have delivered over 700 lessons on this platform, alone. Throughout this time, I have encouraged an array of students who vary in different strengths and abilities, to succeed/reach their goals! I teach the following subjects: Drama, English, History and French. Drama and English are both taught from, Primary through to Degree level. History is taught from GCSE through to As/A-Level. French is taught from Primary through to GCSE standard. I also teach French to individuals who are looking to learn the language, from scratch. I possess dual nationality - I am half French and half English. I also conduct lessons providing coursework and exam help. I love keeping active, listening to music/podcasts, playing with my cat and helping others succeed, is the icing on top of the cake! If I can help someone achieve their goals, then that is a day well spent :) I possess almost five years of tutoring experience and that includes both, face to face as well as online. In 2016, I passed and achieved thirteen GCSE's, nine of which vary from B - A* grades. - Bishop Walsh Catholic School, Birmingham. In 2024, I started my Cert CII and I am aiming to have my full Chartership in Insurance, by February 2026. Throughout my degree: I received a First Class Honors for my 'Education and the Performing Arts' module which has proven fruitful with tutoring. This consolidated my understanding of the performing arts education policy, pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment in a time of educational, economic, technological and social change. It also allowed me to construct innovative ways towards lesson exploration including within the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) sector. I can confidently say that I have explored the place of the performing arts in the evolving English education system and in the early years, informal, community and therapy settings. My degree allowed me to submerse myself into various fields of education and resultantly, have the right exposure towards assisting students within the following categories: - EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage/s). - SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). - Primary Education. - Secondary Education. - Mature learning.

I am currently a law student at the University of Sussex and I am in my second year. I am originally from Guildford in Surrey. I enjoy playing netball and riding horses in my spare time. I can handle all the topics effortlessly from basic to advanced levels. I can prepare students for 11+ test as well. I have experience in tutoring math, physics, chemistry, and engineering subjects. I am a subject matter expert in advanced physics and a textbook solver of differential equations at Chegg. Teaching is my passion, and I strongly believe it's more than just teaching the book knowledge; it's building a connection and listening to the students' needs. Some need direction, a gentle push, or continuous supervision. Every child is unique and great in their own way. I have been tutoring and mentoring for the past 6 years. I possess brilliant mathematical skills and analytical techniques. Prior to the fall of 21, I started my master's at Sapienza University of Rome, due to the pandemic, I had to discontinue the course.

Hi there! I'm English tutor Daniela and I have taught English for more than 10 years. I started teaching English in 2011 when I was still a college student. This was an online teaching job in which I was tasked with assisting the employees of a large oil company with their e-learning course. Later on in 2014, I was offered a teaching position at the university where I had graduated from. I taught English as a second language to more than 5000 students over the course of 5 years. In 2019, I moved to Spain and decided to resume my online teaching career. During these last 3 years, I have taught English to young learners and adults from multiple nationalities and linguistic backgrounds. During all these years, I have met wonderful and smart students from lots of countries across the globe. Each student I have encountered along the way has taught me that learning takes place when you feel safe, comfortable, understood and above all when you are having a great time. The most fundamental aspect I always bear in mind when I teach a lesson is: students do not learn from people who they do not like. Fun memories stick with us. Speaking of fun things, I love learning about philosophy, learning new languages, reading and watching animated as well as sci-fi movies. A language must be seen as something that is alive not as a static set of rules in a book. My intention in every class will show you how language is all about real communication and how context is everything in language learning. There are great habits that effective language learners need to develop and I will share them with you, so that you optimize your learning process. After graduating from high school, I immediately started my bachelor’s degree in the teaching of English as a second language. I graduated from university in 2013 with the bachelor’s thesis: “A professional development program in the public school Hugo Angel Jaramillo through pondering upon content and language integrated learning” and became an English teacher. While I was still carrying out my university studies, I took the TKT course and test. TKT stands for Teaching Knowledge Test and it is offered by the University of Cambridge. The course as well as the test have three modules. Module 1: Language and background to language learning and teaching. Module 2: Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching. Module 3: Managing the teaching and learning process. Later on in 2019, I took a 120 hour TESOL certificate course which allowed me to brush up on some teaching basics. In 2020, I started my master’s degree in the teaching of English and Spanish as foreign and/or second languages in the University of Alicante. I graduated in 2021 with the master’s thesis “Implementing an online gamified flipped classroom to address emerging shortcomings in the rapidly evolving EMI field”.
