Hello! My name is Hajra Yaqub and I am a medical student going into second year. I have a passion for teaching GCSE and A-level students and teaching students the tips and tricks I have learnt over the years to make concepts easier to understand and apply. I plan to use a friendly and encouraging teaching approach, as I want my classroom to be a space where my students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes, as this is how we learn best. I also plan to incorporate a lot of opportunities to practice exam-style questions so my students can feel more familiar when it comes to exams. I have 11 GCSES and 3 A-levels in which I have achieved all A* grades. My GCSEs consisted of the core subjects as well as Business Studies, Spanish, Geography, Latin and Further Mathematics. The A-levels I undertook were in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish. I am currently a medical student going into second year in September.

Lower level - Maths and Science Secondary level - Maths and Science GCSE - Science and Biology Exam board experience - I have been tutoring students aiming for GCSE, AQA, N4, N5, SATS and grammar school exams. SEND experience - I have tutored students with SEND for three years which included students with Dyslexia, dyscalculia, AD I am a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton with a BSC Hons in Biomedical Science with Second class upper. I have completed my ALs in Biology Stream including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have completed my GCE OL including Science, Maths, IT, English, and Business Studies.

Hi! I’m Arushi. I teach Maths at a lower level and at GCSE level. I also teach for the 11+ and can teach economics A-level. I can tutor for OCR, Edexcel and AQA maths exam boards, CEM for 11+ and edexcel for economics A-level. I have previous experience tutoring younger students at my secondary school and have even been hand picked by teachers to tutor their pupils for them. Maths is a specific subject I have spent a lot of time with, learning it from a young age and continuing to do it through my A-levels where I received an A grade. I was commended at GCSE for my english language skills receiving a grade 9 and getting an 8 in english literature. I studied at one of the best grammar schools in the country for 7 years, allowing me to gain a valuable education which I would like to pass onto my students. Having done the 11+ myself, I am a capable teacher for this test. I am an extremely friendly person and I will always make sure my students feel comfortable. My main aim is to make sure I help you with whatever it is you need, whether that is a specific question or an area of content. I hope to hear from you soon!! I studied at one of the best grammar schools in the country and have been lucky enough to receive an outstanding education, which provides me with the ability to share this education with my own students.
