My passion for education and cross-cultural communication prompted me to transition from a career in law to teaching English Soft Skills and Cross-Cultural Communication overseas. I have taught in-person and online classes in a variety of countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Russia, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. I specialised in teaching Young Learners, Academic English, Business and General English. I helped students acquire the ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English. I provided academic English instruction to students aiming for success in academic settings, focusing on advanced language skills, essay writing, and academic vocabulary. My experience has made me self-motivated and skilled in teaching students of various proficiency levels. I create personalised lesson plans tailored to each individual's learning goals and areas for improvement.

I am Brian Angelo Limon, a mechanical engineer by profession, which has given me a solid foundation in problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Alongside my engineering career, I have developed a deep passion for teaching mathematics to children in a way that is both engaging and accessible. I believe that by making math interactive and relatable, we can inspire a lifelong love for learning in young minds. Through hands-on activities, innovative teaching techniques, and real-world applications, I strive to reveal the beauty and relevance of math in everyday life. My ultimate goal is to empower children with the confidence and skills they need to excel academically and thrive beyond the classroom.

My name is Hayden, and I am a current student at the University of Lincoln, I am studying for a BA in Accounting and Finance. I am passionate about this subject as my 2 favourite subjects at GCSE and A-level were Maths and Economics and my course is a perfect combination of both. Problem solving is my favourite aspect of maths whereas Economics interests me as it applies problem solving to the economy and it affects everyone from governments to the consumer. My favourite hobby is travelling and experiencing different cultures. There is so much to learn and experience from visiting different countries and people. Travelling feels rewarding and expands your knowledge and appreciation. My tutor sessions will begin with a consolidating question from the previous weeks content to check that the student still understands the content. The main part of the lesson will be content and there will be integrated practice questions throughout. I will always end the lessons with a small quiz on the topic covered in the lesson. The results will determine next week’s lesson based on the students understanding. When tutoring students, I believe the most important thing is to have a creative and innovative approach to enable the students to understand and engage in the lesson.

Hi, I'm Josh, an 18-year-old from Norwich, UK. I'm currently enjoying my gap year before I leave to study Economics at Sheffield University. I'm currently working as a mentor in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at a leading UK Sixth Form, where I was a previous student and mentoring online outside of this. Despite my relative youth I also have previous experience mentoring GCSE maths at a local high school and privately. Additionally, whilst in Vietnam, I taught English to prospective IELTS students. Outside of mentoring, I enjoy racquet sports, running and skiing as well as good books and good music.
