Hi I'm Katie. In my free time I like to be with my friends, as well as social events within university, such as out chem eng society! Also, I enjoy cooking and baking and coming up with new recipes and flavours, as well as sharing this to my friends; especially cakes! I'm currently a student at the University Of Birmingham studying chemical engineering. I have a strong passion for both chemistry and maths and i believe these supply the fundamentals for understanding how the world works and can be applied to any real life concept or problem. At school I achieved grade 9 and 8 in Maths and chemistry in GCSE, to then be followed by AA at A level. I also studied physics at a level where i achieved a grade B. I previously tutored younger students during my time at secondary school, this gave me an insight into the concepts that are often misunderstood and ways I can use my knowledge to overcome this, and i now have over two years of online tutoring experience. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm to students to help them progress within their subjects and ultimately make learning be engaging and fun.

I am a dedicated English tutor with a first-class degree in Broadcast Journalism, where I studied law, politics, ethics, television and radio production, article writing - and much more! I have years of experience in radio presenting, and I'm also the only host from the UK on the Gen-Z Chronicles podcast, created by OCAD University in Canada. Here, we explore the struggles of growing up across different cultures and the various academic experiences of students across England, Mexico, Spain, Canada and India. I am an avid English fan. I love reading and often spend much time writing my poetry. I am dedicated to encouraging my students to develop a true passion for the beauty of English Literature and Language! Graduated in the Summer of 2024 with a first-class degree in Broadcast Journalism. AAB in A-Level, studying Psychology (A), History (B) and English Literature and Langage (A) GCSE grades range from 5-8, with strong grades in the core subjects.

My name is Bethany, ever since I was young I have always wanted to teach. I am currently attending university studying early childhood and education. I want to be given the opportunity to help others, so that they can achieve greatness later on in life.

I am a dedicated and highly competent educator who is passionate about helping students reach their full academic potential. I believe strongly in creating a safe, supportive and intellectually stimulating learning experience for my students as a way to help them develop confidence in their abilities. My approach to teaching involves building a mutually respectful relationship with my students, finding out the specific areas where they need help and tailoring the learning experience to their needs. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, spending time with loved ones, reading and playing chess.
