My name is Sage and I'm a final year English & Creative Writing student at Queen Mary University of London. Presently receiving high 2:1 to 1st class grades, the highest of which was an 82 (very uncommon in my department) which is considered publishable and not only a strong indicator that I can go into teaching and academia after I finish university as my professor told me, but that I could also tutor fellow university students. I'm particularly interested in topics which involve the Gothic, medievalism, post-colonialism and socio-political issues. I love learning languages - I'm currently learning Mandarin and I also speak Romanian fluently. I love horror, fantasy & sci-fi movies and books (currently reading A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin & The Wandering Earth by Liu Cixin) as well as political theory books such as Caliban & the Witch by Silvia Federici. I'm also very passionate about creative writing having won a couple of competitions where my work was published in one instance. I believe my expertise can be of great help for many students. Hi I’m Sina, a maths student based in Manchester. I’m most confident in maths but I love history, biology, Spanish and many other subjects so I’d be happy to tutor in any of these. For my GCSE’s I took History and Spanish along with required subjects such as Triple Science and Maths and English Language. I went on to study A Level Maths and Further Maths and A Level Biology at Loreto Sixth Form and left with a A*AA (A* in Maths) in 2023.
