Hello! I am Teacher Nest and I have over two years of experience in teaching English as a second language, I am committed to fostering a deep love for learning among my students. My teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of nurturing critical thinking and creativity, achieved through engaging, hands-on projects and collaborative activities. I prioritize creating an inclusive and welcoming classroom atmosphere, where each student feels valued and confident in their abilities. By employing a variety of teaching methods, I strive to address diverse learning styles and provide every student the tools to succeed. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid reader of Shakespeare and actively participate in a debate team, which enriches my lessons with real-world insights and connections. These interests help me inspire my students to think critically and express themselves with clarity and confidence. My ultimate goal as an educator is to empower my students to become lifelong learners, capable problem-solvers, and engaged global citizens.

I have just graduated from Warwick University with a first in my History and Politics degree at Warwick Uni and will be continuing my studies with a Master's in History. I also act as a mentor in both subjects at my University. I take Harvard courses in Computer Science (and small bits of maths) to boost my studies. I read way too many books in my free time and I currently also work as a Library Student Partner at my University which has included working on projects for students at both university and school, as well as working on projects specifically designed for neurodivergent students. Although I appear to be very busy, I really enjoy tutoring and put in the extra time not only to make lesson time but also in preparation and post lesson review time to make the most of each lesson
