I study Biomedical Science and am hoping to get into medical research and diagnostics soon! Apart from academics, I love rock music, gaming, reading and am a trained Indian Classical and Contemporary dancer! I am a third year Biomedical science student at Aston University and am hoping to get into medical research. At the moment I am completing my placement year in the NHS to gain registration as a biomedical scientist! At A-level, I studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. At GCSE level, I studied triple science so have knowledge of that curriculum too.

Since joining GoStudent back in April 2023, I’ve had the incredible privilege of tutoring for over two years — and what a journey it has been! In that time, I’ve not only grown as a teacher but also as a communicator, motivator, and lifelong learner. My lessons are anything but “one-size-fits-all.” Every session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage outside-the-box thinking, and make learning genuinely enjoyable. I love giving students (and their families) the chance to shape the direction of our lessons — because when learning feels personal, progress happens naturally. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is watching students go from “I can’t” to “I can.” Whether it’s tackling tricky topics, preparing for exams, or simply rediscovering a love for learning, I’m here to celebrate every step forward and keep that momentum going. I studied at the UCL School of Pharmacy, where I am currently preparing to sit my final MPharm exams following a recent gap period. In October 2022, I proudly graduated with a First-Class MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies, a course that challenged me academically while also sparking my curiosity for problem-solving and research. Beyond the textbooks, I’ve always believed that learning should be creative and enjoyable. That’s why you’ll often find me making colourful, artsy study notes (which are slowly turning into a revision blog!), or bringing a creative twist into my lessons to help tricky concepts click. My education hasn’t just been about exams and grades — it’s also taught me how to stay curious, resilient, and open-minded, and I try to pass that on to every student I work with.

I am Sarood, a friendly and dedicated maths tutor who supports her students in every shape and form while fostering a positive, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn and grow. So I want to bring this change and shape every young individuals lives. I completed my GCSE's at Ormiston Forge Academy where I achieved grades 9-5 in 10 GCSE subjects, including Mathematics 6 and English 7. Additionally, I did my A Levels at Forge too, I got AAAB in Mathematics, Physics, Sociology and EPQ. As a result, I have completed my BSc Honours Mathematics degree with a FIRST CLASS scoring an average of 75.17%.

Hello! I’m Jezer Cornejo, a TEFL-certified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education. I have two years of experience teaching Mathematics to elementary and high school students. My teaching style is patient, engaging, and goal-oriented. I enjoy using interactive activities and real-world examples to make learning fun and practical. Outside of teaching, I love watching sports and once worked as a sports writer in my university’s student publication. This passion for communication and storytelling inspires me to bring energy and creativity into every lesson. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Philippine Normal University - North Luzon, where I developed strong foundations in teaching and communication. During my time at university, I also gained experience as a sports writer for the student publication, which strengthened my writing and critical thinking skills. In addition, I am a TEFL certificate holder, which equipped me with strategies to teach English effectively to students of different backgrounds and proficiency levels. My academic background and certifications allow me to provide structured, supportive, and engaging lessons tailored to each learner’s needs.
