I’m Joseph, a postgraduate Computing and Information Systems student at Queen Mary University of London with a background in Geography and Business. I specialise in helping students build confidence in Python programming, database management, and related areas. I take a supportive and structured approach, breaking down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand and apply them I am currently studying for a part-time MSc in Computing and Information Systems at Queen Mary University of London, where I am developing strong skills in programming, database management, and information systems. Prior to this, I completed a BA (Hons) in Geography with Business at the University of Nottingham, which gave me a solid foundation in analytical thinking, research, and data interpretation. Hello! I'm Ali. I'm in my third year at the University of Edinburgh, studying English Literature. Having achieved almost 100% in my A level and GCSE English Lit/Lang courses, my goal as a tutor is not only to improve your grades, but provide you with the techniques that beat the system. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for six months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Hi, I’m Jolene, a passionate and dedicated math teacher! I teach Algebra, Geometry, and General Mathematics, and I love helping students discover that math can be both understandable and enjoyable. With three years of teaching experience, I focus on student-centered learning, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging and meaningful. My goal is not only to help students master concepts but also to build their confidence and critical thinking skills. Outside the classroom, I enjoy mobile games, movies, and visiting relaxing places that inspire me to recharge and continue growing as an educator. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education, where I built a strong foundation in math, teaching methods, and classroom management. My training prepared me to create engaging lessons, adapt to different learning styles, and build a positive environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.
