Hi! I am a recent Law and Politics graduate from Queen Mary University of London. I grew up in Pakistan but then moved to London for my studies. I am passionate about any subject that allows critical thinking. I enjoyed public speaking while at school and university as it allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge and be analytical. I am also an avid reader, anything from true-crime novels, historical fiction to drama and poetry. I love dogs and have the cutest cocker spaniel named Chloe. I believe in a truly be-spoke approach to tutoring, no two students are the same. I wish to develop long-lasting relationships with my students and help them achieve their goals.

I am currently studying Law at Durham University and have started to tutor in the summer, whilst I am at home. At university, I have joined the dance society. I play the piano and the flute and enjoy listening to all different types of music, from pop to classical! During my time at school I was in the school band and performed in various charity showcases. English and History were my favourite subjects at GCSE, so I decided to take them at A-Level. I enjoy learning about the past, with my favourite topic being medicine throughout time. My favourite area of English is poetry, and I enjoy reading a vast majority of poems from different periods in time analysing what the poems wider message symbolises.

I am an electrical and computer engineer, passionate about making physics interesting and easy. Besides my 9-5 engineering job, I like to tutor students who are fun to work together with. Levels and subjects I teach: GCSE and KS2 German and French. Exam board experience: AQA but can adapt to other exam boards too. Preferred student age group: GCSE (age 11-16) and KS2 (age 7-11). About me: Hallo, ich heiße Olivia. As someone who is passionate about languages and the advantages of being proficient in more than one, I aim to increase students’ confidence in German and help them to enjoy what is perceived to be a difficult subject, as well as widening their perspectives by exposing them to a culture that is different to their own. I incorporate interactive elements into lessons rather than solely focusing on textbook exercises and always ensure that a relaxed and friendly learning environment is provided, without any unnecessary stress or pressure. I look forward to meeting you soon and helping you to become more confident in German! I completed my A-Levels in French, German and Psychology, and am currently holding a place to study French and German at UCL. Additionally, I achieved grade A* (8) and A (7) in French and German at GCSE. All my exams were taken with AQA so I have an in-depth understanding of, and first-hand experience with, their exam specifications.
