Preferred Age group 0-14 years What to expect when we learn together: Patience - excellence can't be rushed, so we will take as much time as we need to make sure you understand a topic Adaptable Learning - every child learns differently, and I'll make sure we find a method that works for YOU I am here to HELP! - I don't give the answers away when I hear "I don't know". We will work together to remove the "don't". What I expect from you/your child Kindness and Respect - doesn't matter how many times you struggle, I will always remain calm and treat you with the kindness and respect you deserve. Please do the same for me. Engagement - 50 minutes can go by so fast, especially when you are paying attention! Punctuality - unless there is a valid reason for your absence, please turn up on time, ready for a full session. I'm a full time final year forensic psychology student at the University of Portsmouth, with tutoring as a part-time job I achieved a grade 7 in English Language, 8 in English Literature, and 5 in higher Maths. I also achieved grade 7 across all sciences. My hobbies are reading, being creative, and learning new skills. I started tutoring because I want to help other children progress in their learning and reach their full potential while being the helpful face I wish I had at their age! I am currently a student studying Aeronautical Engineering at Loughborough University. I like to make things with my 3D printer, and I am also teaching myself to play my bass guitar, and have recently made my own lead guitar with only hand tools. I achieved an A* in both my Maths and Further Maths A-levels, and also achieved an 8 in my Maths GCSE. During my studies, I also took part in 3 UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) challenges, achieving a bronze certificate for the intermediate challenge (2020), and both a bronze and silver certificate in the intermediate challenge (2021, 2022). -Note. I achieved these grades at Pearson Edexcel GCSE, and Pearson Edexcel Level 3 (A-level)

I am a British international Teacher with many years of teaching experience in Primary and Secondary schools in London. I have found that teaching smaller groups online allows me to focus on the individual student's goals. Additionally, this allows me to build a relationship of trust and confidence. I love supporting my students in becoming fluent speakers. I like engaging my students and encouraging them to ask questions, speak freely, and have fun while learning. I am passionate about helping non-native speakers to learn English, which in turn allows them to dream with enthusiasm. Lastly, I love to support my students to become confident, independent learners. Additionally, I strive to empower my students to be critical thinkers and to dream with enthusiasm.
