Hi, my name is Hinaa and I am an undergraduate student in my third year at Kings College London university studying mathematics with statistics. I achieved an A in maths and a B in further maths at A-level. I also have two younger sisters who I have helped tutor in various subjects for the previous years so believe me I have patience and best understand how to best help them learn. In our first session we will work through an exam paper together and I'll be making notes throughout on topics that you are feeling confident with and those that you struggle with. In future weeks will we take time to go through every topic that you struggle with in great detail until you are feeling confident. I will start off these lessons by explaining the method to you whilst working through some exam style questions and will then allow you to have a go at some yourself.

For History I covered topics of Medicine Through Time, The American West, First and Second World Wars, Henry VIII, Russian Revolution and Weimar & Nazi Germany which all span across exam boards. At University Level I studied the period 1555 - present with a particular interest in the development of Global Health in that period. Languages: English (fluent) SEND: no previous experience Prefered Student Age: 14-16 (GCSE ) for History and Primary/GCSE for Maths Hello, my name is Alex and I am currently working part-time as a Museum Engagment Officer for the University of Dundee. I graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2021 with a first-class degree in Social Anthropology. I also took modules in History and Art History in the first two years of my course. My passion for History led me to an MSc in Digital Heritage at the University of York and to my current job at the University of Dundee Museums Service. I also have over 7 years of experience volunteering at Heritage sites and Museums. I've done various roles in archives, social media, events and exhibitions as well as working as a tourguide at a castle with a 1500 year history. I think this gives me a lot of skills in communicating heritage alongside the academic skills that would make me a good tutor for History. My hobbies are art and design. I love to paint and draw but have been doing a lot of digital illustrations recently. I'm also really interested in historical fashion. I've done costuming for theatre shows and I like to sew from vintage patterns or make history inspired items. I have also been working on designing historical dress-up doll online games which is an extension of my MSc dissertation research. Additionally I love to bake and enjoy yoga and walking. I would like to take a students hobby/interest and use that as an entry point into the period to capture their imagination. Coming from a museum background I would also like to incorporate objects from collections as a starting point for understanding the past and a way to develop the source analysis skills needed in exams.
