I am a 35-year-old English teacher from Ireland. I have a passion for both teaching and academic content development which I have enhanced throughout my academic and professional career. I studied English, Media and Cultural studied for my BA degree where I had the opportunity to explore and practice journalistic, academic, and creative writing. In my job as an English instructor, I am always trying to find creative ways of teaching. I have experience in teaching English as a foreign language as well as in literature and media studies. I have studied English and American literature and poetry. I have developed and created English courses for language centers and I have written and edited an English coursebook series.

Hi! I am a neuroscience student at QMUL. I studied maths, further maths, biology and chemistry at A-Level. I have experience working at Kumon Maths and English helping students aged 4-16 and also worked as a GCSE maths mentor at a nearby high school. I am eager to support students along their educational journey, no matter their background.

I am currently an undergraduate student which makes me familiar with the new GCSE and A level examination system, giving me the advantage of guiding my students through this process. I have a particular passion when it comes to tutoring. I am happy to go over anything my students are struggling with. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is seeing the positive impact you can have on your students. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to help my students with their confidence as well as to inspire and encourage my students to achieve their goals and pursue their dreams.
