I am a TEFL certified teacher with 5 years of teaching experience and have graduated from University and was awarded with an English award as attained the highest English grades across my borough. What separates me from other tutors is that I genuinely have a passion for helping students reach their full academic potential, it's the most rewarding part! My love for the English language is contageous and my students learn to also love the subject! With a strong foundation in teaching English and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, I strive to make every lesson both meaningful and enjoyable. I firmly believe that each student learns differently, and I take a personalized approach to tutoring, tailoring my methods to meet individual needs and learning styles. I widely understand the English curriculum and familiar with exam boards such as OCR , AQA and EDEXCEL. I have helped numerous students to excel in their GCSE's and iGCSE, getting the grades that truly reflect their hard work. Subsequently, I am very familiar in tutoring students of all ages, from priamary all the way to secondary level. I love to help each student reach their learning goals and prove that learning can be fun! I love to travel and experience new cultures! I absolutely love music and I am an artist at heart. I have work experience working in a primary school and also on a one to one basis as a learning support help in secondary school. I have a very bubbly personality to help my students feel comfortable where they might be shy or nervous taking lessons. At the same time, I have set targets for each of my students and monitor their progress diligently through setting homework and module exams. This works for my students who need that extra push!

Hi there! My name is Kevin and I am an English and Irish teacher who recently moved to London to pursue an MA in Theatre Directing. I have been teaching several students both subjects over the past 2 years to great success. I have experience teaching English and Irish to all levels, History to GCSE standard and Performing Arts up to third level. I love seeing students find a passion for a subject they have written off as being too difficult or obscure. I am approachable, friendly and love the subjects I teach. I usually get students to teach the subjects to me to see if they truly understand what we have covered. I am also a big nerd with a love for all things fantasy, literature and animation! I have a 2.1 Masters in Education and currently on a 1.1 average on MA in Theatre Directing. I also have a BA in English and Irish with Performing Arts Studies. I also have a grade 8 RIAM qualification in Piano and am extremely passionate about music.

Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a native English speaker who grew up in New Zealand. I moved to Germany in 2019 to start my masters degree in performance music at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. I have always really enjoyed teaching music and through learning German as a second language, I realised my passion for languages and language teaching. I have been teaching English for a year and I am now working on an online TESOL course for English teaching. My hobbies include sports such as football, tennis and table tennis. I also enjoy origami and learning languages (I am working on a B2 certificate in German). My approach to teaching is to create a positive and interesting learning environment. It is my goal for students to enjoy their lessons so they are more likely to want to keep learning and to want to practice and improve themselves outside of lesson times. Associating positive energy and experiences to learning will be what keeps you motivated longterm. I am of course happy to discuss with students what they are looking to work on and set goals with them for what they want to achieve through these lessons. I think of myself as a very patient and positive person, so I can adapt to the speed/different paces of a student's learning without pressure or stress. I am also very interested in teaching violin/viola/music lessons if anyone is interested in these, as that is a huge passion of mine and is what I have been working on throughout my degrees. With experience in tutoring all the way up to Undergraduate level in Mathematics, Engineering and Physics, I can provide a high level of support and assistance in these fields. I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Engineering with the Universities of Exeter, Warwick, and Cranfield. After completing my A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Geography, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering achieving a First-Class degree in which I developed a smart electronic prosthetic system using soft robotics. Alongside my academic experience, I have developed a wide portfolio in my field. From industrial experience in Formula One to renewable energy generation, Artificial Intelligent systems and plant-based wetsuit designs, I am able to provide insights and the knowledge you need pursue Science and Engineering after your A Levels and GCSEs if you wish. I don’t just tutor and research all day either! I (try to!) surf as much as I can and I also work on various wildlife film projects, many being underwater shoots. I’m not here to judge you on your abilities. There are no stupid questions. I won’t be shouting equations at you. I like to work in a relaxed and supportive environment where we can focus on your needs and targets together while tailoring the sessions for you so that we can achieve our goals.
