I am a passionate chemistry enthusiast with a master's degree, dedicated to elevating student success. I've Proudly guided previous mentees to achieve top grades, paving their way to prestigious Russell Group universities. I'm committed to unlocking students' academic potential. I have a degree in BSc Chemistry and MSc Chemistry. During my Masters, I did research by developing drugs to treat cancer by developing novel drugs that have a maleimides functional group to target proteins that cause cancer. My research was ground-breaking and is currently being published in Journals. Some of my previous students have gotten into Russel Group Universities and some are currently studying Medicine, Dentistry, Computer Science and Pharmacy! Hello! :) My name is Cécile and I am twenty-four years of age. In 2021, I graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester with a Bachelors Degree in Drama and I am currently midway through my Insurance chartership. I will have my CII accreditation by February 2026. I currently work full-time as an Insurance Consultant but the highlight of my week, is supporting students on their academic journeys! :) I have been delivering high-quality teaching in both, face to face and virtual settings, for almost five years. I have operating as a freelance tutor on the GoStudent platform, since January 2022. On the 4th of January 2024, I received my 500th lesson Certificate from GoStudent and from January 2022 up until present, I have delivered over 700 lessons on this platform, alone. Throughout this time, I have encouraged a variety of students who vary in different strengths and abilities, to succeed/reach their goals! I teach the following subjects: Drama, English, History and French. Drama and English are both taught from GCSE through to Degree level. History is taught from GCSE to As/A-Level. I teach French up to GCSE standard or for students, looking to learn the language from scratch. I possess dual nationality - I am half French and half English. I also conduct lessons providing coursework and exam help. I love keeping active, listening to music/podcasts, playing with my cat and helping others succeed, is the icing on top of the cake! Throughout my degree: I received a First Class Honors for my 'Education and the Performing Arts' module which has proven fruitful with tutoring. This consolidated my understanding of the performing arts education policy, pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment in a time of educational, economic, technological and social change. It also allowed me to construct innovative ways towards lesson exploration including within the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) sector. I can confidently say that I have explored the place of the performing arts in the evolving English education system and in the early years, informal, community and therapy settings. My degree allowed me to submerse myself into various fields of education and resultantly, have the right exposure towards assisting students within the following categories: - EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage/s). - SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). - Primary Education. - Secondary Education. - Mature learning.

Hello! My name is Meg and I am a university student currently studying Criminal Justice and Social policy at the University of York. I have been tutoring for around two years both privately and via this platform. I try my best to create engaging and fun lessons that are specifically tailored to a student's needs. I weekly plan lessons, covering material from the previous lesson at the start in order to consolidate and also exploring new material to ensure coverage of the curriculum. Being in university means that not too long ago i was sitting my GCSE's and A levels myself, of which I achieved high grades at both. This means I am able to relate well with the students and it also means I am very familiar with the exam board specifications and mark schemes - something unique to my age bracket. My priority is to enable the student to reach their full potential academically and in their confidence with the subject whilst ensuring the environment is safe, fun and learning is happening at the pace that suits them best. I teach - Up to GCSE: English Literature, English Language, Spanish, Music A level only: English Literature (text dependent - Othello, The death of a salesman, The handmaid's tale, Blake, Keats, unseen) I have experience with these exam boards: AQA, OCR, Eduquas, WJEC and Edexcel I look forward to hearing from you soon! :) I finished Sixth Form in 2022 and achieved grades of all 7's, 8's and 9's at GCSE and ABB at A Level. I have finished my first year at university with an average grade of 2:1. I also have qualifications in water sports and instructing (Dinghy Instructor) and teach music as a volunteer job. I have been tutoring professionally in the last year or two as well as studying for my degree.
