I adapt lesson style and content to your needs. We can go through specific subject areas, study skills and exam skills as required. I can vary how the material is delivered according to the situation and what works for you. I will teach and do lecture notes where appropriate, or take a more "coaching" style if that suits you and the situation better. We can even do more seminar/discussion style lessons as you become more comfortable with the material. At the heart of all of the above is making sure that we are working together so that you can achieve your goals. I know that you are probably already having lessons in school or at home, and my goal will be to complement those existing lessons rather than replacing them so that you can get the best value out of our time together. Specialisms: I am able to cover all aspects of the curriculum but I am particularly focused on skills. Psychology is a little different to other subjects covered at A-Level - not only do students have to learn a lot of information and produce it under exam conditions, but there is also a need to analyze and evaluate what has been learned so that they can write clearly, concisely and insightfully about that information. As well as teaching the syllabus content, I can help improve a student's thinking and writing skills so that they can go into exams with more confidence. A bit about me: I'm a PhD-qualified tutor who, over the course of my career, spent time working as a researcher, consultant and analyst across different industries. In all of those other roles, the part I enjoyed most was training, teaching and coaching people, so I am working towards making that my full-time career. Working in industry has taught me the importance of always turning up prepared and ready to work, using clear, prompt and honest communication and making sure that whoever I am working with knows that I am working in their best interests. The same will apply when we work together. In my spare time I love to play football and follow a lot of sport. I am learning to play guitar (very slowly) and enjoy listening to music, going to gigs when the opportunity arises. I love learning and am always doing some course or another - I'm currently studying to teach English as a foreign language and starting Coaching course in the next couple of months as well. I am a 19 year old Aerospace Engineering student currently in Queens university having a passion to teach maths, computer science and physics and make students understand and view problems in a better way. I am looking to teach students aged between the start of secondary school, all the way to A-levels in the subjects specified above. My passion for teaching came when I was helping students from lower down in my school when i was in a society for further maths and we were helping students catch up to their peers in understanding topics in maths. I have taught many students in further maths society in my secondary school and have was in a group project to teach year 8 students computer science in year 12.

My name is Mashika, and I am a civil engineer and a have also worked as a middle school and high school teacher at Villa Grimani International School. I have a robust educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering that I am currently pursuing. Additionally, I am passionate about child psychology and have read extensively on the subject to deepen my understanding of how children learn. This has truly shaped my teaching style which involves alot of interactive discussions and problem solving which in turn leads to increased self confidence and reasoning ability in students.
