As part of the course, I also completed an integrated BSc in cardiovascular science, where I achieved first-class honours. At school I achieved 4A* at A level in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and PE, ranking as one of the top students in the cohort. At GCSE, I also performed very well, achieving seven grade 9s and two grade 8s, as well as an A* in GCSE Further Mathematics. I have over four years of tutoring experience, which I began whilst still at school in Year 13. I currently tutor GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) as well as Combined Science Trilogy. I also offer A-level tuition in Biology and Chemistry.

My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm passionate about science and STEM, and I strive to show my students how thrilling these subjects can be! My name is Karen, and I'm a dedicated tutor for maths and science. I've been tutoring for four years and hold a Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry and Petrochemical Engineering. I achieved A*/A grades at GCSE in mathematics and physics, and an A in A-Level maths. I've always enjoyed school and hope to share that passion with my students! I teach A Level maths and physics, and I also specialize in chemistry, French, maths, and physics at Lower Level and GCSE levels. I have a C1 level in French, a favorite hobby of mine since I started lessons at six. My name is Fahima and I am a Second year Law student at the University of Birmingham. Teaching is one of my many passions, and I believe education is more than the pursuit of academic excellence, as a tutor I hope to be able to offer a secure place for children to advance in individuality, and to aid with character development. As an independent, selfless and critically thinking individual, I believe such personal assets, as well as having an empathetic and enthusiastic charisma, will hopefully, enable me to be successful in this field of work, as these are essential qualities vital for an educator. Some of my hobbies include travelling, swimming, and reading! I have dual nationality with both USA and UK passports thanks to my English mother. When I was much younger I gained 5 "O" levels and 1 "A" level while living in Taunton, England. I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I have a 4-year university degree from San Diego, California. In 2004 I gained a TESOL certificate at Transworld Schools in San Francisco, California. I have over 12 years of cumulative teaching experience in Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, and China. I think that teaching English has benefitted me the most in the world around us. When I was in Kuwait I wrote and self-published a children's book entitled Korean Odyssey. I now live in Wiveliscombe, Somerset England awaiting a return to Thailand where my Thai wife is.
