My name is Corina, and I am an Engineering student. Since the start of my academic journey, I began to cultivate great interest towards Math's and Sciences, finding the challenging nature of these subjects to be extremely rewarding. This has now led me to my current area of study, which I am enjoying more by the day. As a student, I understand from first hand how overwhelming these subjects can feel, as they are fast-paced and new concepts are constantly being introduced. However, over the course of my academic journey I have truly learned the importance of developing comprehensive understanding of the key concepts and how to organise effective revision plans. As a tutor, I look forward to helping students gain understanding of the foundations of each topic, so we can build confidence in approaching more complex situations. Math's and Science can be fun! When I am not studying, I enjoy to partake in physical activities and preserve a healthy work-to-life balance by dedicating time to my friends and most importantly, my family. My main hobbies include reading and painting. As for the future, I am aiming to become a Charted Structural Engineer and I would really like to learn a fourth language! I hope I can help you on your journey! Currently, I am a third year Civil Engineering student at the University of Nottingham. Previously, I studied Math’s, Physics and Biology at A-Level, achieving A, B, A respectively. In my GCSEs I achieved 7s and above in all subjects, with Maths and Science being at grades 8.

I am currently in my second year studying BSc Biomedical Science. I am eager to help out pupils struggling with science! I have developed a number of great techniques that worked for me from GCSE up to A-level . Don’t worry, you’re in great hands. I’m organised, hard-working and love a challenge. But most importantly a current student😁! I have 8 GCSE’s with grade 7s in English Maths and Science.Other GCSEs include an 8 in French and History. At A-Level I achieved AAB and D* in Biology, History, English and Business. I am currently a second year student studying Biomedical Science.

Lower level: Maths and 11+ (entrance and SATs) GCSE: Biology (AQA would be preferred) and Maths I am fluent in Turkish. My preferred age groups would be 11-16 (up until GCSE) I am 22 years old, with a lot of educational experience surrounding Maths and Science that I would love to transfer to my students. I believe that learning should be fun for all and strive to ensure my students are enjoying our lessons. My hobbies include going to the gym and baking. I am a second year Physician Associate Master’s student with a background in Biomedical Sciences (Immunology). I have an ever-growing passion for medicine and the world of science, and aspire to forward my knowledge to my students in an enjoyable and interactive way. I have obtained AAB in Maths, Biology and Chemistry A-levels and all A*-B grades in my GCSEs. Separately, I have achieved a Grade 5 in violin and a Grade 3 in Piano.

At university, I am involved in women's rugby, netball and badminton, allowing me to have a good work-life balance. I also play a big role in charities, having taken part in many different volunteering schemes and partnerships. In one of the partnerships schemes I took part in, I taught science to primary school children. I am also a huge advocate for equality as demonstrated by my roles in the Women in Medicine Society and also the Diversity Society at school. As a student ambassador at university and a previous school prefect, I am always professional and I have the experience of acting as a good role model for students. I am currently a second year medical student at King's College London. I chose to study medicine because I love learning about how our body works and what happens if something goes wrong. I hope to use my knowledge and skills to help others. At school, I achieved 3 A*s at A level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and 10 A*s and 2 As at GCSE, therefore I am confident in my abilities to support students in achieving their highest goals.
