I have just graduated from Warwick University with a first in my History and Politics degree at Warwick Uni and will be continuing my studies with a Master's in History. I also act as a mentor in both subjects at my University. I take Harvard courses in Computer Science (and small bits of maths) to boost my studies. I read way too many books in my free time and I currently also work as a Library Student Partner at my University which has included working on projects for students at both university and school, as well as working on projects specifically designed for neurodivergent students. Although I appear to be very busy, I really enjoy tutoring and put in the extra time not only to make lesson time but also in preparation and post lesson review time to make the most of each lesson Straight A*/As student at GCSE and A Level including English, Maths, History Received first class Honours i History and Politics in my History and Politics Degree from Warwick University Beginning my History MA at Warwick University in October 2024 Also completing additional courses in Maths, Economics and Computing/Coding with Harvard Online Courses.

Hello, my name is Aaliyah and I am from England. I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience. I love to travel and visit many different countries with my family and friends. I am no stranger to trying new things, especially food. I love food! A lot. I also enjoy painting, singing and dancing, even though some would say I should leave dancing to the professionals. I have been teaching for about 2 years and I am also TESOL certifie. I have worked at one of the most prestigious schools, Oxted High School. Working at Oxted has highlighted the importance of having competent, supportive and passionate teaching staff to support students in their studies. I have had the pleasure of working with many children from different age groups, whether it be in a group setting or one-to-one. My role was to ensure that children with learning difficulties get the best support they need and have an equal opportunity at learning. I really enjoy teaching and I hope that I can make a longlasting difference in every child I come across.

As you can probably guess, my future goal is to work with animals and progress throughout my career to eventually become a Veterinary Surgeon. I have three dogs back at home, who I adore! One of my biggest accomplishments is gaining my black belt in karate back in 2020. Some of my best friends graded for their black belts at the same time, it was a great experience for us. As well as this, before the age 18 I managed to climb the UK 3 peaks. I have a lot of experience with online learning because most my A-levels were learnt from behind the screen during lockdown so I know what it's like from the student side of online learning as well. It is because of this that I am eager to help students progress in life to reach their own goals. Increasing a students learning potentials and confidence will be a key factor throughout their life. I have experience working with students struggling with anxiety, dyslexia and ADHD, as well as students who are extremely shy so communication is minimum. I am practically proud to say that a lot of my students eventually come out of their shells, meaning that at school, home and other activities they are able to express who they are without a worry. Thus giving them a great leap into their future. I have a range of GCSE qualifications, as well as A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I completed an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Toxoplasmosis within sheep herds. I have also completed four online courses, they are in Animal behaviour and welfare, Ecology and ecosystems, Edivet: basics of veterinary Surgery, Canine communication. I am currently studying at the University of Chester doing a Bachelors of Science degree in Bioveterinary Science.

I enjoy working on difficult problems and finding solutions as efficiently as possible. I am also quite proficient at Mathematics and will be able to teach any stages of education up to GCSE's. I studied Mathematics for GCSE and A-Level, which has led me to get into a STEM subject at University. I am super confident working on Algebra and Geometry. All other topics, I will be able to help tutor and assist the student to the best of my ability.
