Being a medical student has its own difficulties that will challenge your methods of revision and its rigorous workload has made me more efficient in establishing better routines and study methods. My educational career thus far has equipped me with the skills to breakdown difficult concepts and tackle confusing topics together with my students. The calm and light hearted demeanour with which I approach my lessons have kept my students confident to always approach me no matter how silly they think a question or doubt may be. This then works synergistically to help me understand their concerns and what I need to focus on more on to help attain my students’ targets. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind so I keep myself busy with activities I enjoy like rugby, football, table tennis, photography, hiking and channelling my inner Gordan Ramsay. ✅ A 4th Year Medical Student with 5+ years of tutoring experience offering engaging & bespoke lessons! I moved to the U.K. from India with my family in 2012 and I was placed in all the bottom set classes at school where I was faced with an unfamiliar syllabus and a foreign culture. This has set the tone in my ethos and approach to learning to be proactive while being efficient.

With more than 11 years of experience as a Maths Teacher and being a well-rounded educator, I have had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of students in key stages 1, 2, 3 and 4, thus enhancing my teaching techniques and instructional methods. I currently teach GCSE Maths and also A level Maths and IBDP MAA and MAI at college. I am a very enthusiastic and energetic with a good sense of humor, and I bring these qualities with me to every session I give. I firmly believe that if the teacher is excited and interested, the students will be, too. My hope is to leave my students with a positive impression of education, and to feel they had a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher who brought curiosity and creativity to the educational process. I hold a Master's in Teaching and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. I have been teaching the British Curriculum for more than 11 years. Hi there, I'm Mustafa! And I'm a 1st year medical student at the University of Manchester who tutors alongside studies in the evenings. I have been tutoring for the past year and a half, with over 200+ hours of experience on various online platforms for Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Incidentally, I took all these 4 subjects for A Level and received A*AAA to showcase my passion for the STEM subjects alongside with the ambition of earning a coveted place in medical school. These subjects have now given me a solid, diverse foundation to teach from which now project into my students whether GCSE or A Level. Teaching is a beautiful art which encapsulates the ability to not only impart your knowledge to helping others progress, but also the opportunity to simultaneously inspire their confidence and self-esteem off the field, since often your confidence from understanding concepts will then project into other areas of your life which can prove beneficial for maintaining a healthy portfolio. Learning from a textbook can only do wonders to a certain limit, but the art to teaching entails a variety of concepts that hold the opportunity to boost morale and confidence in the student's abilities. A concept which is equally important than the contextual learning itself since the drive and hunger to study harder derives from the faith you show in yourself and the support around you. My teaching philosophy is to aim to bring a balance of enthusiasm and meticulousness when it comes to teaching. The teacher-student relationship is pivotal to helping a student progress, hence I emphasise the importance on getting to know my student through their hobbies and interests firstly and relate that to their learning. I intend to expand on their knowledge by developing their concepts through a mixture active engagement where I will annotate concepts on the screen and then ask the student to annotate as well actively to keep the lesson flowing smoothly. We will go through the theory and the content, before then consolidating our learning on exam questions in the latter sect of the lesson which will give a realistic challenge of what you may be examined on. I attended Thornden School for my GCSEs where I achieved 98887776 in my exams. Then I went to Bishop Wordsworth's Grammar School for my A Levels where I achieved A*AAA in Chemistry, Maths, Physics and Biology respectively. I am now in the process of undergoing my MBBS Medicine degree at the University of Manchester Medical School. Currently in Year 1.
