Hi! My name is Nikita, nice to meet you :) Levels and subjects I teach English and Maths up to KS3. Preferred Age group 0-14 years What to expect when we learn together: Patience - excellence can't be rushed, so we will take as much time as we need to make sure you understand a topic Adaptable Learning - every child learns differently, and I'll make sure we find a method that works for YOU I am here to HELP! - I don't give the answers away when I hear "I don't know". We will work together to remove the "don't". What I expect from you/your child Kindness and Respect - doesn't matter how many times you struggle, I will always remain calm and treat you with the kindness and respect you deserve. Please do the same for me. Engagement - 50 minutes can go by so fast, especially when you are paying attention! Punctuality - unless there is a valid reason for your absence, please turn up on time, ready for a full session. I'm a full time final year forensic psychology student at the University of Portsmouth, with tutoring as a part-time job I achieved a grade 7 in English Language, 8 in English Literature, and 5 in higher Maths. I also achieved grade 7 across all sciences. My hobbies are reading, being creative, and learning new skills. I started tutoring because I want to help other children progress in their learning and reach their full potential while being the helpful face I wish I had at their age! I hope we can work together to make learning a fun experience, and I look forward to helping you grow :) Nikita

I’m an enthusiastic, dedicated and versatile individual with a positive attitude towards all aspects of education with great communication skills. I’m generally detailed and planned with my work and well organised as I believe it makes a more efficient learning environment. I’m currently studying Biochemistry at Bsc level in university and have a natural interest in biology and chemistry and love for maths.

I am a multi-instrumentalist. I play seven instruments and I love singing. I started playing the electronic organ when I was seven years old. I continued my musical education playing in the school orchestra and concert band. The Guthlaxton concert band travelled all over Britain performing in competitions. It was great fun! I have my own recording studio and have recorded some songs (on Spotify) . I really enjoy gardening , knitting and nature. I am a complete animal fanatic . Once , I wanted to be a wildlife photographer. I also enjoy swimming in the sea and going travelling to warm countries . The furthest i have travelled is to Sri Lanka where I saw fire flies and baby elephants. What an amazing experience. I believe music is a real gift and want to share this gift with other people. I have three grade 8 s with the ABRSM in clarinet, flute and piano . I also have a grade 5 alto saxophone grade too. I studied GCSE music , A level music and a degree in music . I have been teaching for twenty years in schools as a peripatetic music teacher. I have taught privately and online. I teach seven instruments including singing . I studied a diploma with the Open University also .

Subjects: Social Studies, Media Studies and Spanish Levels: Lower, GCSE, A-Level and Higher Level in all the mentioned subjects. Exam Board Experience: AQA, OCR, WJEC and Cambridge International. Languages: English and Spanish. I am a native Spanish and Dr in social anthropologist at the the University of Manchester. I teach Sociology and Media Studies at all Levels including GCSE, A-Level including IB curriculum and exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, 11+ and Cambridge International. I also teach Spanish to adult students at different levels. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how cultures influence the production of knowledge. I also have knowledge in film studies and skills in audio-visual production. I can support students in their academic and artistic creative process. In my teaching, I link the learning material and cultures to engage in communication with the students and contextualise what we are learning. Cycling, climbing and the love for animals are some of my main personal interests. I love travelling and I am currently living in Berlin.
