Hi, I am 25-year-old University of Leeds graduate, with a BA honours in English Literature and History. I have also successfully applied to a History MA at Queen Mary University, to start in September 2023. I have worked as an English Foreign Language teacher in South Korea and as a Social Media and Event Director. Hi, I’m Danny. I am a mathematics graduate who studied at the University of Bristol. I have a passion for maths and find unlocking hidden potential in students, by experimenting with new teaching techniques, a very enjoyable process. In my spare time, I love hiking, reading and watching films/television.

I studied in Singapore for secondary and high school, so I am familiar with the British O level and A level syllabi, which are used in Singapore with minor variations. Currently I am studying social sciences in second year at Sciences Po Paris campus of Le Havre and the program is in English. I have been teachign English language and grammar, Mathematics, History, and Biology to students up to secondary level both online and offline for the past 2 years. I am a passionate and patient teacher dedicated to making learning enjoyable and rewarding to my students. In my spare time, I write and produce for a podcast and a campus newspaper in English, and I'm in the orchestra of Le Havre as a violinist. My first language is Mandarin. Research Experience: I had research attanchment at Nanyang Technological University before coming to France for my University, under the Biochemistry department. I also interned at the Singapore Environmental Agency under the Wolbachia project for dengue control. This experience gave me a 3-month laboratory working experience with leading biologists and bio-engineers in the field of infectious disease control, which made me interested in the public health sector and related social policies.
