I have been actively involved in a science-based organization where I taught students using experimental instruments. With a strong background in science and being a Medicine student myself, I am well-equipped to provide comprehensive tutoring. In 2022, I gained a first-class honours degree in Immunology, Infection and Cell Pathology at UCL. I was additionally awarded the David Katz Project Presentation Prize for my Neuroscience research project at the Francis Crick Institute. I have attended seven schools in four countries (Munich, Berkley, Los Angeles, Tokyo, St Andrews), which gave me a wealth of experience with different educational systems. Prior to starting university, I worked for two years as a laboratory intern in one of the world-leading virology laboratories at the University of St Andrews, focussing on novel vaccines and antiviral treatments. I am bilingual (English and Russian), and also fluent in Japanese. I am a qualified Japanese-English translator and have worked as an online translator for many years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and had been a first-team captain of both the UCL medical women's team and the London inter-university teams. I'm currently in my first year of medical school, passionate about both my studies and helping others succeed. As a tutor, I love seeing students reach their goals and gain confidence in their abilities. Outside of academia, I enjoy getting creative with arts and crafts, exploring nature's beauty, and diving into video games for some relaxation. I have two beautiful cats who hold a special place in my heart, bringing joy and comfort to my life. Looking forward, I dream of traveling the world, experiencing different cultures, and expanding my horizons. Additionally, I'm eager to volunteer at animal shelters, where I can make a difference in the lives of animals in need. Balancing academics, hobbies, and future goals, I'm excited for the adventures that lie ahead and the opportunity to make a positive impact along the way. My schooling began in London, where I completed my GCSE and A-level qualifications. These years laid a strong foundation for my learning journey. Now, I'm studying Medicine. I'm excited to dive deeper into the medical field and learn how to help people live healthier lives. Outside of school, I've spent time working as a carer, assisting those who need help. This experience taught me the importance of kindness and responsibility. I'm also trained in first aid, which means I know how to help in emergencies. I'm a full-time double Masters student who is easy-going and friendly. Since I'm a student myself, I ensure not only a smooth learning process but also a fun one! I am always eager to track the progress of my students and to design my lessons in such a way that it can cater to each student individually. I make the lessons interactive and comprehensive, so that not only the learning goals are achieved, but the student enjoys the learning process as well. Biology: until undergraduate level Chemistry: until GCSEs Maths: up until grade 8 Can tutor during the Christmas holidays. Having Maths up until A-Levels and lots of tutoring experience, I also can tutor primary level maths as I am very patient with my students. I received a First Class Honours in my BSc Biology degree. I also received an A* (equivalent to a 9) in my A-Levels and GCSE Biology subjects. I also got A* (9) in Chemistry for A-Levels so, I can teach Chemistry up until GCSEs.
