With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

I love tutoring because it allows me to help students improve their understanding and achieve better grades. Hi there, I'm a medical student at the University of York. I enjoy playing sports, especially football and am a Man Utd fan. I love reading and teaching and teach from primary school level, through secondary school and all the way up to A-level for certain subjects. Hi there, In my GCSEs, I achieved ten Grade 9s and one Grade 8. I then studied four A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, achieving 2A*s and 2As. In between, I also sat BMAT and UCAT medical entrance exams in which I achieved a score of 3000.
