GCSE and A levels: Biology Exam Board Experience: Cambridge, Edexcel, IMAT Languages: English, Urdu/Hindi Preferred student age group: GCSE About me: My name is Hannan, and I am in my fourth year of medical school in Italy. I am excited to teach you biology. The subject of biology is very interesting and arguably the most influential subject you will study. This is because it allows us to gain knowledge about ourselves, our health, and our environment. I have taught biology for around 6 years, and I am looking forward to making biology engaging and fun for you. My teaching styles include explaining topics as well as demonstrating concepts through visuals (images). When I write on my iPad, I share the screen with the students so they can see what I am writing and get a better understanding of the concepts. One of my hobbies is traveling and learning about other cultures. As well as traveling to twelve countries, I lived and studied in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Malaysia, Poland and Italy. Also, I love extreme sports like Bungee jumping and cliff diving. I also enjoy aerial photography as well. My educational experience includes GCSEs, A levels, and the IMAT, after which I began my medical studies in Italy. My teaching experience, in total, is six years. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught students from lower levels to advanced levels, and I have also instructed IMAT and BMAT students. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of giving seminars on medical ethics at my university.

English GCSE - year 10&11 only Russian all levels I am an enthusiastic and devoted tutor. I am aware of different challenges that students face and I develop different strategies to help them to overcome them. There isn’t always an opportunity for students to ask questions and receive a lot of personal attention in the school classrooms, so I always encourage students to explain to me what they struggle with the most and which areas make the least sense, so they don’t go back to their school lessons still feeling confused and worried that they don’t understand something. In addition, I encourage them to think and analyse, I try to avoid giving answers, instead I help students find them themselves. I believe it’s such an important life skill. I consider each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I always strive to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in my online classroom. I build my relationship with everyone on mutual respect and trust. I prefer when students see me as a mentor, rather than a teacher, and I call our meetings “sessions”, rather than “lessons”. Hello! EDUCATION: High school graduate , been in the IB, American and British curriculum. Graduated with the American Diploma + SAT exam. ABOUT ME: English: Reading , writing and speaking. Ages 4-13 English Language tutoring (Any age!) Science/Biology ; Ages 4-13 EXPERIENCE: KS1 , English language tutoring Languages: English , Arabic and Turkish. Preferred student age group: Ages 4-13 I am a 3rd Year Dentistry student , currently living in Turkey. I have studied in both the UK curriculum and the American curriculum.
