I’m Luci, a recent maths graduate from the University of Oxford. I’ve been tutoring all ages and abilities for over five years, ranging from helping secondary school students to adjust to their pre-GCSE workload, to A level, admissions tests and interview practice for 16 to 18 year olds. I tutor primary school, GCSE and A Level maths. I have experience with children hoping to increase their grade to a high pass, but have also worked on summer schools with students aiming to achieve top A level grades and study maths degrees at prestigious universities. After working as a teacher in Spain on a two month summer school, I really hope to work as a maths teacher abroad in the future! I’m an enthusiastic and approachable tutor with a passion for learning. I’m currently working towards a TESOL qualification, enabling me to teach all around the world. As part of this I completed an internship teaching over a 2 month programme in Spain. I’ve worked as an intern for 3 months with the University of Oxford, tutoring and helping students most negatively impacted by the pandemic with their university applications, and encouraging children of all backgrounds to progress to higher education.

Hi! I am a third year medical student at the University of Leeds, who is passionate about helping students succeed and enjoy the wonderful subjects of biology and psychology along the way! Having recently done my A-levels (A*A*A), I have up-to-date and effective exam technique advice to offer. I enjoy simplifying complicated scientific and psychological concepts to make content easier to understand for students which enables their confidence to flourish in the subject area. I deliver structured lessons personalised to each student's strengths and weaknesses, engaging them in a friendly learning environment and asking questions to review what they have learnt and ensure they understand. I aim to adapt my method of delivery based on each student's learning type like using more visual aids for a visual learner. I enjoy explaining the relevance of science in application to real life settings which helps expand students' understanding and makes it more interesting. I work with the student to set them realistic targets, and help them achieve the grade they aim for. I have a consistent track record for helping my students succeed and become more confident in their chosen subject. I am a third year medical student at the University of Leeds.
