Hi, I`m Azalea, a fourth year medical student at Newcastle University. I've been tutoring for 4 years now, and continue to be very passionate about tutoring students to maximise their academic potential. I've studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths to A level, and am continuing to learn about these subjects in my medical degree! I have graduated with a first class bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from St. George's, University of London. First Class BSc in Biomedical Sciences

I am someone who loves to learn new things, especially when it comes to cultures and languages, so much so that during lockdown I taught myself Turkish. I can speak 3 languages fluently, (English, Farsi and Turkish) and am currently studying two languages at degree level (Spanish post A-level and French from beginner's level).

Outside of my classes I’m interested in picking up skills, I recently learned to crochet and I love the outside. I enjoy hiking, exploring and travelling and have visited a range of countries including Peru and Cambodia. In 2019 I lived and taught in China which challenged me to become a better teacher for all my students.

I mostly learnt in school by getting questions wrong, and solving them with practice questions and the mark scheme.
