Hi, I'm Rhaizel, a passionate Math teacher with over 5 years of experience. I specialize in Primary and GCSE Math, making lessons engaging and enjoyable. Outside the classroom, I love watching movies, sports, and solving problems, which I bring into my teaching. My goal is to help you master math while developing a genuine love for the subject. I look forward to making math both fun and rewarding for you! I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Mathematics and have been a Licensed Professional Teacher for over 5 years. A proud government scholarship recipient, I graduated in 2018 and earned my teaching license that same year. I began my career in 2019 at a private school and expanded to a public school in 2020. Specializing in teaching Math to students aged 12 to 16, I’m dedicated to creating a fun and engaging learning environment, helping students thrive and enjoy their mathematical journey.

I am a double masters in Physics and in Astrophysics. My recent masters is from University of Minnesota, US. I have strong mathematical, computational and statistics background as well. I love playing badminton and enjoy hiking.

I am a final year Economics student at the University of Bristol and have a very mathematical academic background. I babysit a lot back at home and volunteer for my university's nightline so have a lot of experience helping & communicating with children and students. I also love going to the gym and listening to music! I am open to tutoring maths (up to A-level) and economics (up to A-level), Edexcel and AQA. I did Maths (A*), Physics (A) and Economics (A*) at A-Level as well as an EPQ. I did GCSEs for Maths and English and IGCSEs for all my other subjects. I have also completed mentoring, volunteering and an internship (finance/banking related) whilst at university.

English GCSE - year 10&11 only Russian all levels I am an enthusiastic and devoted tutor. I am aware of different challenges that students face and I develop different strategies to help them to overcome them. There isn’t always an opportunity for students to ask questions and receive a lot of personal attention in the school classrooms, so I always encourage students to explain to me what they struggle with the most and which areas make the least sense, so they don’t go back to their school lessons still feeling confused and worried that they don’t understand something. In addition, I encourage them to think and analyse, I try to avoid giving answers, instead I help students find them themselves. I believe it’s such an important life skill. I consider each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I always strive to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in my online classroom. I build my relationship with everyone on mutual respect and trust. I prefer when students see me as a mentor, rather than a teacher, and I call our meetings “sessions”, rather than “lessons”.
