I love to travel, read, eat and try new activities! I like learning about different cultures and the history behind the cultures. I took up running during the pandemic and my aim is to one day run a half marathon and once that's achieved, run a full marathon. I love teaching and am very passionate about it. I did GCSEs in Maths, English, Science, RS, Drama, ICT, Business Studies, and got additional qualifications such as Critical Thinking AS Level when I was in secondary school. My A Levels were in English Literature and Language, Accounting and Economics. My Batchelors degree was in Accounting and Finance and I proceeded to get a PGCE after a year of doing a Maths Enhancement Course to qualify to teach Secondary Maths.

I have a passion for science, especially Biology. The exam board I teach is AQA. Subjects I teach: GCSEs: Biology, Chemistry A level: Biology I understand every student is different and will personalise my lesson to meet individual needs and learning styles. I am from Sri Lanka and I finished my IGCSEs and IALs there. Majored in Physics and Mathematics. I enjoy teaching Mathematics and Physics. In my free time, I like to craft model RC planes, listen to audiobooks and train in grappling arts. I am excited to get to know you and have fun learning things together! Hello! I am 19 years old and currently in my second year of studying Biological Sciences at Exeter University. I am very keen to tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology. I am particularly interested in animal health, but I do have an overall passion for all things Biology. I hope my previous experience in tutoring and mentoring will help to encourage students to work towards their academic goals, as well as having fun and finding a passion for science!
