I have experience in tutoring both primary and secondary school level maths. I have the most experience with edexcel exam board, but I'm comfortable teaching maths targeted to all exam boards taught in English schools. Preferred student age group: Primary or secondary school age. About me: I am a fourth year Medical student at the University of Sheffield. I enjoy cooking and playing sports, including: running, swimming, netball and hockey. A-levels: Maths, Biology and Chemistry (A*A*A*) AS level: Further Maths (A) GCSEs: Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, Food Technology, Geography, German, Mathematics, Physics. I’m a fully qualified Mathematics teacher with QTS and have thorough subject and exam knowledge. I have a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Sunderland University. I have a few years of teaching experience both at classroom level and 1-2-1 tutoring. I’m friendly, easy going and get excellent results through building good relationships with my students. I have a huge passion for teaching and find it most rewarding to see children progress and excel under my guidance. Once the topic is consolidated, the second part of the session consists of past paper question practise. We work together through topical exam questions to prepare the student for the layout and standard of question they will receive in their exam. In my opinion, question practise is vital for success in english exams and is a key form of revision. If a student can confidently work through past paper questions on the topic covered, we can both feel confident they will succeed in their exams BA degree in Relgiious studies and education studies. Lower Levels: Maths GCSE: Maths and Further Maths A-Level: Maths and Further Maths I am the most knowledgeable about AQAs exam boards, however can also tutor Edexcel and OCR. I’m a 2nd year mathematics student at the University of Bath and I enjoy playing lacrosse, watching motorsport (and go karting) and running! I received A*A*AA at A-Levels and A* in EPQ. I have 11 GCSEs grades 7-9 including a 9 in Maths. I have taken part in many Maths Challenges, receiving golds and ‘Best in Year’ as well as receiving a merit in the Girls’ Mathematics Olympiad. In sixth form, I was also a subject leader for maths and so enjoy helping others learn and understand the subject :)
