I am a second year medical student at King's College London. I received 4 UK medical offers and have a UCAT score in the 95th percentile with a score of full marks (900) in quantitative reasoning. For my A levels I studied biology, maths, chemistry and undertook an EPQ on 3D bio printing and its role in degenerative medicine. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. I currently teach biology to students of varying ages whether that be GCSEs or A levels as well as maths to lower years. Hi there, I'm a medical student at the University of York. I enjoy playing sports, especially football and am a Man Utd fan. I love reading and teaching and teach from primary school level, through secondary school and all the way up to A-level for certain subjects. Hi there, In my GCSEs, I achieved ten Grade 9s and one Grade 8. I then studied four A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, achieving 2A*s and 2As. In between, I also sat BMAT and UCAT medical entrance exams in which I achieved a score of 3000.

I adapt lesson style and content to your needs. We can go through specific subject areas, study skills and exam skills as required. I can vary how the material is delivered according to the situation and what works for you. I will teach and do lecture notes where appropriate, or take a more "coaching" style if that suits you and the situation better. We can even do more seminar/discussion style lessons as you become more comfortable with the material. At the heart of all of the above is making sure that we are working together so that you can achieve your goals. Psychology is a little different to other subjects covered at A-Level - not only do students have to learn a lot of information and produce it under exam conditions, but there is also a need to analyze and evaluate what has been learned so that they can write clearly, concisely and insightfully about that information. As well as teaching the syllabus content, I can help improve a student's thinking and writing skills so that they can go into exams with more confidence. A bit about me: I'm a PhD-qualified tutor who, over the course of my career, spent time working as a researcher, consultant and analyst across different industries. In all of those other roles, the part I enjoyed most was training, teaching and coaching people, so I am working towards making that my full-time career. Working in industry has taught me the importance of always turning up prepared and ready to work, using clear, prompt and honest communication and making sure that whoever I am working with knows that I am working in their best interests. The same will apply when we work together. In my spare time I love to play football and follow a lot of sport. I am learning to play guitar (very slowly) and enjoy listening to music, going to gigs when the opportunity arises.
