I am a dedicated English tutor with a first-class degree in Broadcast Journalism, where I studied law, politics, ethics, television and radio production, article writing - and much more! I have years of experience in radio presenting, and I'm also the only host from the UK on the Gen-Z Chronicles podcast, created by OCAD University in Canada. Here, we explore the struggles of growing up across different cultures and the various academic experiences of students across England, Mexico, Spain, Canada and India. I am an avid English fan. I love reading and often spend much time writing my poetry. I am dedicated to encouraging my students to develop a true passion for the beauty of English Literature and Language! Graduated in the Summer of 2024 with a first-class degree in Broadcast Journalism. AAB in A-Level, studying Psychology (A), History (B) and English Literature and Langage (A) GCSE grades range from 5-8, with strong grades in the core subjects.

I am able to tutor History at GCSE, and A-Level I am also an experienced A-level Government and Politics on the Edexcel exam board. I have experience with tutoring AQA for History A-level and both AQA and Edexcel at GCSE level for History. I also have experience working with students surrounding academic and exam stress and anxiety, I have also done extensive public speaking coaching for both competitions and increasing confidence. In my spare time, I'm a massive theatre fan and I love going to see musicals and theatre shows with my friends I also love taking time to explore my university city and getting to know a different part of the country. I am a fully qualified History Teacher after completing my Secondary History Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Sheffield Hallam University last year. I have gained a 2:1 BA honours degree in Politics and International Relations from Newcastle University. I have also done extensive coaching for public speaking and debate competitions, alongside this I have training in how to deal with exam and academic anxiety, I am also a Trauma Informed practitioner and trained in the specific needs of students with SEND needs.

I teach GCSE English Literature/language and A level English Literature. I'm 20 years old and study English Literature at the University of Durham. I’m in my second year of university and my favourite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I have my bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh awards as well as my Chief Scout gold award. I have a set of GCSE’s in grades 6-9 (8 and 9 in English subjects), I studied English literature, geography and sociology at A level and achieved all A’s in these subjects. I am currently a second year student at the university of Durham. I spent a few months at my secondary school gaining work experience as a teaching assistant.

Usually my tutorials consist of going through questions on the student's chosen topic(s) together to build confidence and understanding. However, I am very flexible and can give more in-depth explanations of concepts, go through past exam papers, help with homework, or anything else that will support the student to achieve their personal best. I am happy to help learners from KS3 up to GCSE, including adults who may be taking their exams later in life. Additionally, I have some experience with learners who have additional learning needs, such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. I have been tutoring high school students since September 2022 and previously tutored undergraduate maths for three years. I have a BSc in Mathematics from King's College London and an MSc in Modern Applications of Mathematics from the University of Bath.
