Hi! I'm Alfa. GCSE: Chemistry, Biology, Maths A-Level: Preferred student age group: upto GCSEs I enjoy watching medical documentaries, playing board games, meeting new people, travelling, trying different food, baking (sometimes), and I can speak 3 languages: English, Hindi and Konkani. Teaching is also what I enjoy. In the past, I had set up a revision group with a few of my friends, and helped them get their first A grade in the final GCSE exam! My lessons are very interactive, and I am open to any ideas to make them even better. To succeed, I believe a strong foundation is the key, which is why I work on the basics first with my students, before moving to the harder concepts. Homeworks and revisiting topics will help retain the information. I am currently studying for my masters in Civil Engineering, I enjoy tutoring and have experience in tutoring both GCSE and A Level students, having acquired high grades in these subjects and levels myself. My goal is to help students understand the methods for each question, instead of simply finding the answer, helping them to continue to succeed when tackling questions of a similar nature within an exam setting.
