About me: I studied for my BA in Modern European Languages and History at Durham and for my MA in Applied Human Rights at York. I have worked in Canada, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and the UK. I am always excited to travel and explore new places. I am a fan of football and tennis. I also love baking, reading and walking.

I am a second-year University of Nottingham student studying Financial Mathematics. I teach Maths because it is a subject where I believe I can help students develop not only in academics but also in their confidence. My hobbies are watching the NBA, and football and going to the gym regularly. I aspire to have a career in the financial sector. I found my passion for maths during secondary school, but in university, I felt my skills could be best used in finance rather than purely mathematics. For college, I attended LAET, where I achieved an A* in Math, an A in chemistry and a B in biology.

As a tutor, I am able to customise my lessons to best support the needs of my students. I also taught in secondary schools as both cover teacher and teaching assistant, which allowed me to comprehend and adhere to lesson plans in order to support the classroom teacher and individual special needs students with day-to-day instruction and learning. Being trilingual (fluent in Bengali, Italian and English) languages have always been an integral part of my life, which gives me an advantage when communicating with my students. I am currently in my final year of studying Biomedical Engineering. I find maths and science fascinating subjects that encompass all aspects of our everyday life. During my A Levels, I studied Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Italian. My interests include music, art and languages. I have achieved a Grade 3 in violin, Grade 2 in piano and a Grade 1 in guitar. I am keen to continue with my tutoring experience as teaching has always been a great passion of mine.

I teach specifically Primary school content and 11 + content, from Reception to Year 6. This consists of Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning.
