Levels and Subjects: Lower Level: Maths, English, French GCSE: English, French A-Level/IB: English, French Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel, 11+, WJEC Languages: English (native), French (fluent) SEND Experience: Worked with students with complex needs in a sixth form college, including students with Autism, ADHD, Tourette's syndrome, dyslexia, anxiety, and other sensory needs Preferred age group: GCSE and A-Level, however am happy to work with Primary as well. About me: I'm a recent university graduate trying to find my place in the world. I have worked in a sixth form college where I cultivated my love for teaching and learning, as well as supporting young people in complex situations thorugh their education. I know what it's like to be an outsider; I'm neurodivergent and I lived in France for six months as a part of my degree. I want to help others who feel as though they don't fit in to have success and joy in what they do. I have a ton of hobbies, more than I can really keep up with, including: creative writing, reading, crochet, video gaming, dungeons and dragons, digital art, video editing, singing - and these are just the ones I'm focusing on at the moment! In school I was always an active member of the student voice community, and this continued into university where I was the academic president for Modern Languages and Linguistics and ACIS (for international students). I worked hard to ensure that my colleagues had the support that they needed to succeed. I was also on the committee for the creative writing society, which brought me a lot of joy throughout my time at university. I am looking to eventually get a teaching qualification, as I would love to be able to support learners throughout my life.

Levels & Subjects: Primary: Mathematics GCSE: Mathematics , Chemistry (AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR) Experience : Taught GCSE and Primary Maths for a year Hello, my name is Pelumi. I am currently studying a Masters in Investment Banking at Queen Mary University of London . The reason I chose to study this because it includes using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. Preferred subject: Maths Preferred student age group: Primary/GCSE My hobbies include reading, travelling, drawing, exercising and I love food and music! BSc Pharmaceutical Chemistry (QMUL student) A-levels: Mathematics - B Chemistry - B Biology - B GCSEs: Mathematics - 8 Physics - A* Chemistry - A Biology - A French - A History - A Religious Studies - A English Literature:7 English Language: 6 Level 3 Edexcel algebra award
